Peacefully on Friday, October 10, 2025, at Resthaven Rest home, with his loving family at his side; in his 95th year. Dearly loved husband of the late Joan, loved father and father-in-law of Chris and Jo, Steve and Bernie, Phillip and Christine, Bernadette and Martin, Neil and Anne-Marie, Andrew and Susan, Maurice and Kirsten, loved Grandpop of his 21 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. R.I.P. Requiem Mass to celebrate Martin's life will be held on Friday, October 17, at 1.00pm in the Church Of The Blessed Sacrament, Ardwick Street, Gore, then leaving for the Charlton Park Cemetery. Sincere condolences and best wishes to Barney and the family. Very saddened to hear of Martin's passing. He had such a full life. I had the pleasure of meeting him last year and what a memory! What stories he told me of my Uncle from many years ago. Hoping the celebration of his life goes well today I am sure you will have amazing memories to share. I was very sad to hear of Uncle Martin's passing. I remember him with fondness, he was my favourite uncle, always cheerful and gentle. He will be missed. Deepest condolences to Chris, Steven, Phillip, Bernie, Neil, Andrew and Maurice - and your own families.
