Gail MANNING Obituary

Peacefully on 25th September 2025; aged 82. Dearly loved wife of the late David. Loved Mother and Mother-In-Law of Dianne, Karlene & Bryan, Philip, Brendon & Diana. Loved Na of Matthew & Alex, Brennan, Camille, Latham, Ryland, Natalya & Bianca.
At Trish's request, a private family service has been held. We wish to thank all the wonderful staff at Summerset Rototuna for their compassion and care for Trish during her illness. Donations may be made to the Cancer Society in memory of Trish.

Our sympathy to you all. Dad, Leo Martin, is telling me he and Shirley were visiting when Les and Val brought Trisha home as a baby. I remember many visits while on family holidays, including when Trisha and David's twins, Philip & Brendan, were babies.

I also had holidays on the farm at Parua Bay as my mother was Norma Gilmore (nee Marquand). I remember catching the bus to Whangarei and having a great holiday on the farm when I was in my teens. Thinking of you all.

Did Trish and David have a dairy farm at Parua Bay? If so, she was related to my Dad and we had several family holidays with them when we and their children were little. Wonderful memories of 100 milking cows, all with names.
