Space Shuttle Challenger lifts off (AP Photo)
On January 28, 1986 at 11:38 a.m., the Space Shuttle Challenger, with a crew that included a social studies teacher, lifted off from Cape Canaveral, Florida. Just 73 seconds later, as people across America watched, Challenger disintegrated.

All seven crew members were killed: Commander Dick Scobee, Pilot Mike Smith, Mission Specialist 1 Ellison Onizuka, Mission Specialist 2 Judy Resnik, Mission Specialist 3 Ron McNair, Payload Specialist 1 Christa McAuliffe, and Payload Specialist 2 Greg Jarvis.

On the 25th anniversary of the Challenger disaster, we invite you to sign this special memorial Guest Book and share condolences for the entire crew.
