It's been a while since I have been here but that doesn't mean you are not often in my thoughts. I spent a lot of years at D-Y and got to watch a lot of young people go from little 14 year old freshmen to taller, more confident seniors who were getting ready to be unleashed on the world and show us what they were made of. I was proud to have been associated with most of them. You were fun to watch. I would have loved to see what you would have become had you had the time you were supposed...

Back in 2009 I was 13 years old. Now almost 20 I am just finding this page. I never met nick but I am truly thankful for his service to our country. As my friend said in his message at our young age we knew what a heroic citizen you were and always will be. I am have family that served in the Marines as well friends so from us all semper fi and rest in peice nick your fellow brothers and sisters have it from here. When a hero falls it's getting back up that makes them super.

Remembering Nicholas today on this solemn anniversary. Rest in Peace Nick.
