Holland, William  
Holland, William William "Bill" Holland, passed away on November 18, 2017 after a long battle with cancer. He was a beloved dad, devoted brother, trusted uncle and faithful friend. He leaves to cherish his daughter, Dr. Aurelia (Dr. Robert) Wood; son, Dr. Lamarr (Dr. Maggie) Holland; ex-wife, Gabriella Holland; three sisters, Richetta Willis, Muzetta Dunford and Beatrice Holland; as well as many treasured nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Bill was an employee of Western Electric, AT&T, and Bell Labs where he championed numerous contributions rising to the rank of Technical Manager. Family, community, music, golf and all things technology were his passions. Like his father, he was also a creative entrepreneur, and like his mother, he proudly served his community and regularly contributed to organizations he held dear. He will be remembered for his warm smile, dedication, and sense of humor. ­Bill was preceded in death by his parents Richard and Tommie Holland, brother Thomas Holland, brothers-in-law Andre Dunford and Paul Willis, nephew Brandon Dunford, and mother-in-law Rosita Sellers. The viewing will be held from 5-7 pm on Friday, November 24, 2017 at the Community Family Funeral Home, 101 W Main St, Richmond, IN. A second viewing will take place at from 10 am-12 noon immediately followed by funeral services on November 25, 2017 at Bethel AME Church, 200 S 6th Street, Richmond, IN. Interment will follow at Earlham Cemetery.

Hutchinson, Dennis  
Hutchinson, Dennis 1941 - 2017 Dennis Eugene Hutchinson, of Dunnellon, FL, formerly of Columbus, OH, passed away November 12, 2017. He was born on October 5, 1941 in Columbus, OH to the late Kendall and Gladys Hutchinson. His wife A. Marlene Hutchinson preceded him in death in 2010. He is survived by his children, Christopher, Denene, and Dennis (Traylene); his grandchildren, Kelsi, Melissa, Colton, Justin, Emma, and Drew; as well as, 5 great grandchildren. Dennis is also survived by sisters, Judy and Ruth Ann; brothers, Gordon and Jay; and companion, Rose Westcott. Dennis was a veteran of the United States Army. Harris, Mary  
Harris, Mary Mary Eunice (Hennesy) Harris, born in Middleport, Ohio, November 23, 1918, passed away at Arlington Court Nursing Center, October 19, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents Charles Martin Hennesy and Clara Crary Hennesy, her sister Melissa and her loving husband Gordon K. Harris. She attended Ohio University in Athens. Mary was a long-time member of Boulevard Presbyterian Church, where she was an organist for the choir, under the direction of Gordon. She also served as an elder and a deacon. Mary spent several years as a secretary for Trinity Methodist Church and volunteered at Riverside Methodist Hospital, where she frequently played the piano for patients and visitors. Mary is survived by her children, Gordon K. Harris, Jr. (Veda) and James R. Harris; her sister, Catherine Motley; grandchildren, Grant, Valarie, Marjorie, Jason, Chelsea and Justin; great grandchildren, Maggie, CJ, Mackenzie, Conner, Jagger, AJ, Mary, Karly and Kaitlin; and numerous nephews and nieces. Special thanks to Judy Emanuele for her love, care and support. A memorial service will be held at Boulevard Presbyterian Church, 1235 Northwest Boulevard in Grandview Heights, on Sunday, November 26, 2017, at 2 p.m. Pastor Preston Shealy officiating. Hippensteel, Donald  
Hippensteel, Donald 1928 - 2017 Donald Morris Hippensteel, 89, of Columbus, Ohio, died in his sleep on November 12, 2017. He was born on February 1, 1928 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Don was a proud graduate and devoted alumnus of The Orchard School and served as the inaugural president of their Alumni Association. He was a 1945 graduate of Shortridge High School and earned a BA from Indiana University in 1949. Don served in the Army during the Korean War. He had a long career in Indiana and Ohio as a superintendent for mental health and developmental disabilities hospitals. He was awarded with Indiana's highest distinction and appointed as a Sagamore of the Wabash. A member of the Columbus First Unitarian Universalist Church for over 30 years, Don also served on the church staff. He was an aficionado of classical music, loved to sing in the choir, and reading everything on news and history. Don was preceded in death by his parents and his stepmother Faith (Ritz) Engle Hippensteel. Loving husband and proud father, he is survived by his wife, Carolyn Hays Hippensteel of 54 years; a daughter, Sarah Hippensteel (Douglas "Dusty") Hall of Springfield, Ohio; a son, Russell Hays (Cumi) Hippensteel of Marengo, Ohio; a granddaughter, Emma Pauline Hall; three grandsons, Logan (Nikki) Hall, Dylan Hall, and Brendan Fox; a stepsister, Suzanne Engel (Henry) Gurr; plus numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins. A memorial will take place at 10 a.m. on December 9 at the First Unitarian Universalist Church in Columbus, Ohio with a luncheon to follow. In lieu of flowers, please give to The B.R.E.A.D.
