Jenkins, Fernzella 1924 - 2018 Fernzella K. Jenkins, age 94, of Orient, passed away February 17, 2018. She was born February 11, 1924 in Columbus to the late John and Gladys Rings Eastman. Preceded in death by husband Carson H. Jenkins, Sr., infant daughter Janet Marie, and son-in-law Robert L. Sutphin. Survived by son, Carson, Jr. (Patricia); daughter, Teresa (Jenkins) Sutphin; grandchildren, Wendy Deloria, Kathryn Sutphin, and Micah Sutphin (Michelle); 5 great-grandchildren; as well as nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the O.R. WOODYARD CO., 1346 S. High St., Friday, February 23, 2018 from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. Rev. Edwin Lewis officiating. Entombment at Franklin Hills Cemetery Mausoleum immediately following service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions made be made to Loving Care Hospice in London, OH.

Juelich, Otto  
Juelich, Otto 1927 - 2018 Otto Cleve Juelich, age 90, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away peacefully February 17, 2018. He was born December 14, 1927 in Duisburg, Germany to Walter and Martha Juelich; also preceded in death by his brother Charles Juelich. Otto met Dorothy Juelich while attending The Ohio State University and enjoyed nearly 64 years of marriage before her passing in August 2017. He is survived by his daughters, Ruth (Thomas) Kohls and Martha Juelich, both of Massachusetts; son, Robert Juelich of Washington; grandchildren, Sara Kohls (Jonathan Tobias), Mark Kohls (Erin Taylor), Michael and Nathanael Gordon; loving neighbors at his Columbus home of 58 years, and his faith community at Parkview Presbyterian Church. Otto began his career with North American Aviation in the 1950s designing computer programs for aviation applications, and worked for successor companies Rockwell International and Boeing for his entire career. Rockwell also gave him the means to pursue and earn his PhD in Computer Science from OSU in the 1970s. Memorial contributions may be made to the National Audubon Society, The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, or the Columbus Literacy Council. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Parkview Presbyterian Church, 6969 E. Livingston Ave., Reynoldsburg, OH 43068. Pastor Nate Manzo officiating. Johnston (Ihrig), Judith Christine 1934 - 2018 Judith Christine (Ihrig) Johnston of Grove City passed peacefully February 16, 2018. Judy was born in Springfield, Ohio to the late Justus and Doris (Brain) Ihrig. Judy graduated from Capital University in 1956, and taught school in Columbus and South Western City Schools. She was active in the Women's Circle at St. John Lutheran Church in Grove City, The Capital University Alumni Association, Franklin County Chapter of the Engineers Auxiliary, and the Grove City Civic Club. She is survived by her husband of 60 years Ralph, sister Jane (Mike) Kinney, nephews Scott (Maureen) Kinney, Nate Kinney and Rodney Kinney; children Steve (Debbie), Jan (Brian) Smith and Joe (Claudia); 10 grandchildren Katie (Nick) Kaputska, Jennie (Austin) Nixon, Abby (Andrew) Jump, Emily (Andrei) Jipa; Ben (Michela) Kochensparger, Kayla Kochensparger, David Martin: and Ellen, Mallory and Ian Johnston; great grandchildren Grace, Matthew, Liza, Ella, Anna, Jackson, Maria and Daniel. Her family will always be grateful for the love, support and guidance Judy provided. Her family will welcome friends 2-4 & 6-8 PM Wednesday February 21 at THE SPENCE-MILLER FUNERAL HOME 2697 Columbus Street Grove City, Ohio. Joering, Eric  
Joering, Eric 1978 - 2018 Eric Joseph Joering, age 39, was tragically taken from us on Saturday, February 10, 2018 while responding to help others. He was a 1997 graduate of Westerville South High School and attended the Columbus State College Police Program. From there, he was hired by the City of Westerville, Division of Police. During the 16 years that Eric was employed by Westerville, he was a patrol officer, worked in the Detective Bureau, and then became a K-9 Officer partnered with Sam. Eric loved working with Sam but the most important job to him was being a husband and a father. His daughters were his everything and they thought the sun rose and set with him. He was truly loved by all and will be missed tremendously. Eric is survived by his wife, Jami; and his daughters, Eva (12), Elena (11), and Ella (6); parents, Jim and Lillian Joering; brother, Michael (Jen); nephew, Joseph; niece, Ravella; sister-in-law, Angi (Mike); nephews, Nick, Matt, TJ, and Chris; his police family, and many friends. Public Visitation will be held on Friday, February 16, 2018 at St. Paul Catholic Church, 313 North State Street, Westerville, Ohio, 43082 from 10 a.m.-12 noon. Johannes, William  
Johannes, William William C. Johannes, age 72, born May 28 1945 passed away February 7, 2018. Born in Cincinnati, Bill Johannes is a life-long resident of Ohio and has lived in the Columbus area most of his life. Bill is a graduate of Columbus West High School and a proud Ohio State Buckeye, earning a B.S. in Business Administration ('67) and MBA ('69). Bill was a member of the Sigma Nu fraternity and ROTC. Upon graduating, Bill joined the U.S. Army until 1973, when he was honorably discharged as a 1st Lieutenant. In 1968, Bill married his college sweetheart Gail and eventually settled in the Village of Marble Cliff. Bill worked as a branch manager at City National Bank through its transition to Bank One and retired in 2000 as a Vice President for Chase Bank. After retirement Bill began a second career as administrative assistant and Clerk of the Village of Marble Cliff until he retired in December 2017. Bill was an avid traveler, he visited six/seven continents and 78 countries. Bill enjoyed photography, taking thousands of pictures of his travels, gardens, and families. Bill was especially proud of his daylily gardens and was an active member of the Metropolitan Columbus Daylily Society and the American Hemerocallis Society. Bill also served on boards of the Inniswood Garden Society and the Kelton House Museum & Garden. Bill was especially proud of giving back to his community and sponsored a veteran's award for deserving students at Columbus State University and a Columbus Foundation award for an annual outstanding teacher award at Grandview Heights High School. Bill has also been active at First Congregational Church of Columbus where he sings in the choir and serves at the treasurer of the trustees. Bill is survived by his wife of 49 years, Gail Johannes (nee Tyler); daughter Emily Johannes (Paul Easterling), sister Barbara Clapham (nee Johannes), brother-in-law Scott Tyler, cousin Gary Smith, and many other family and friends. A memorial service will be held to celebrate Bill on Sunday, February 18, 2018 at 2:00 pm at First Congregational Church, 444 E. Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43215. Johnson, Edwina  
Johnson, Edwina 1956 - 2018 Edwina D.M. Johnson, age 61, went home to be with the Lord Monday, February 12, 2018. She was born in London, Ohio and graduated from Eastmoor High School. Edwina was employed by the Ohio Department of Unemployment Services. She is preceded in death by her mother Shirley Johnson, grandfather James Calloway, grandmothers Adele Johnson and Gladys Calloway, and sister Shirl Vicarel. She is survived by her father, Edwin Johnson; brothers, Mark Johnson and Paris Johnson; sister, Jennifer (Gerry) Griffin; daughter, Stevie Lynn Pearson; and granddaughter, Sydney Pearson.
