Queen, Larry S.  
Queen Larry S. Queen, age 64, of Chillicothe, formerly of Hilliard, passed on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Mayfair Village after a short battle with cancer. He was born December 16, 1952, in Columbus, OH. Larry is preceded in death by his parents Paul and Emma Jean Queen and sister in law Mary Queen. He is survived by brothers, Mike Queen of Sumter, SC and Rich (Dottie) Queen of Columbus; sister, Brenda (Rick) Alford of Grove City; niece, Shelly (Jack) Richardson and nephew, Brian (Deborah) Queen of Sumter, SC; nieces, Danielle (Dave) Dahmer, Mariah Alford and nephew, Timothy (Rachel) Alford of Grove City; several great nieces and nephews. Larry graduated from Hilliard High School in 1970; served in the U.S. Air Force from 1970-75 during the Vietnam War. Larry worked several jobs, including Wagner Electric in Hilliard. He was a Past Commander of American Legion Memorial Post 614 (Hilliard); member of Am-Le Voiture 15, Forty & Eight (Franklin County); Life Member of AmVets Post 4 (Chillicothe). The family will receive friends on Monday, February 27, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., with American Legion service and sharing of memories 7 p.m. at TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026. Burial, with military honors, Wesley Chapel Cemetery 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 28, 2017. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be sent to American Legion Memorial Post 614, PO BOX 1120, Hilliard, OH 43026, Kindred Hospice or a charity of choice.
