Williams, Emily Jane  
Williams Emily Jane Williams, 63, died unexpectedly at her Dublin home on April 25, 2015. Jane was preceded in death by her parents Bob and Selma (Jonas) Williams, and brother Bill. She is survived by sister, Beth. Born in Athens, Ohio, Jane was in the first graduating class at the new Athens High School in The Plains. She earned a bachelor's and master's degree from the College of Education at The Ohio State University. Jane completed a 30-year career as an elementary teacher in the Columbus City Schools, serving as a first grade and "Reading Recovery" teacher at West Broad Elementary School and Duxbury Park Alternative School. She was a member of the Delta Kappa Gamma Society International, an organization dedicated to excellence in education. She was a past president of the Gamma Nu Chapter. As president of Alpha Delta State, Jane enjoyed traveling around Ohio and visiting local chapter members. A long-time season ticket holder for OSU football games, Jane was in the stands for the national championship victory in the Fiesta Bowl against Miami and in the Rose Bowl win over Oregon. An enthusiastic supporter of the Columbus Zoo, Jane served for ten years as a docent tour guide. An informal memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 16 at the Worthington Christian Church, 8145 North High Street. To recognize Jane's steadfast loyalty to the Buckeyes, it's okay to wear "scarlet and gray." Williard, Bonnie Gail  
Williard Bonnie Gail Williard, age 50, of New Lexington, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, April 29, 2015. She was preceded in death by parents Harold "Gene" and Sylvia Thompson, and by husband Russell S. Williard. Bonnie was sweet and tender-hearted, always thinking of others and putting others before herself. She was survived by sons, James Johnson and Daniel Johnson; granddaughter, Kaylin Johnson; step-son, Russell Williard; sister, Debbie (Brad) Fronius; brothers, Steve (Debbie) Thompson and Daryl (Tracey) Thompson; and many nieces and nephews. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Wolfe, Michael  
Wolfe Michael Wolfe, 57, of Pickerington, passed away Saturday, May 2, 2015. Mike was born June 22, 1957 to the late James and Beatrice (Feiber) Wolfe in Columbus. Mike was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was a Past Master of Pataskala Lodge #404 F&AM and Cub Scout Master and Troop Leader of Etna Pack/Troop 141. Mike is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Terri; sons, Jim and Chris; grandchildren, Katrina, Caleb, Madi, Olivia, Chase and Gracyn; brother, Ed (Pat); and nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 6, 2015, from 2-4 p.m. and from 6-7:30 p.m., closing with the Masonic Service at 7:30 p.m. at the PFEIFER FUNERAL HOME, Reynoldsburg. Worbs, Norma L.  
Worbs Norma L. Worbs, 85, of Gahanna, passed away Friday, April 24, 2015. Norma was born in Chauncy, OH to Fred and Carrie (Leffler) Ross and is preceded in death by her parents, husband of 52 years, William G. Worbs, daughter Jenifer Lee Dabbs, two brothers, four sisters and close friend Glenita Locke. Norma is survived by her son, Jeff (Lisa) Worbs; brother, Paul (Shirley) Ross; grandchildren, Ryan (Elizabeth Michaelis) Worbs, Katy (Anthony) Woltz, Ashton Poore, Auston Poore; great-grandson, Spencer Woltz; a host of nieces, nephews and many friends. Norma worked for Ohio Bell and the Westerville Schools. She was actively involved at New Horizons Community Church including teaching and sending out cards. Norma was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grand Nanny. Her hobbies included reading, watching OSU sports and old movies, listening to Gospel music, bird watching, and gardening. A Graveside Inurnment will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2015, 10 a.m. at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 5600 East Broad Street, Columbus, OH . In addition, A Celebration of Life Luncheon will be held immediately following at her church located at 2100 Reynoldsburg-New Albany Road, Blacklick, OH 43004. Waibel John F. Waibel, age 83, of Canal Winchester, passed away peacefully at Riverside Methodist Hospital on April 27, 2015. He was born September 27, 1931 to the late Alfred G. Waibel and Claudine L. Bergenroth. John is survived by his wife of 63 years, Marilyn Rollins Waibel; son, Tim (Marsha) Waibel, Canal Winchester; daughters, Jane Land, Wesley Chapel, FL, Jill (Danny) Johnson, Baltimore, Judy Waibel, Columbus, Jan (Bob) Jones, Lithopolis; brother, Bob (JoAnn) Waibel, Canal Winchester; and cousin, Al (Margie) Waibel, Columbus; grandchildren and their families, Kara (Jon) Enlow, Carter, Clay and Nora; Kyle (Lyndsey) Waibel, Hunter, Reid (Britt) Whitaker, Banyan and Finn, Ben Johnson, Thad (Leslie) Johnson, Cooper and Ellie, Sam (fiancée Macy) Johnson, Mallory and Jack Spence and Shafer Jones. John grew up in Columbus and graduated from South High School in 1949. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1950-1954 and married his high school sweetheart in 1951 and took care of her in their home until his death. He was the owner of Waibel Heating Co. from 1957 until his retirement in 1994. In 2010 he was inducted into the Air Conditioning Contractors of America Hall of Honor. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed antique/classic cars and bird watching. He was a member of Lithopolis United Methodist Church where he served as a trustee for many years. He will be remembered for his devotion to his faith, family, and his work ethic. Friends may visit 5-8 p.m. Monday at THE DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 650 West Waterloo Street, Canal Winchester. Wharton Larry L. Wharton, October 23, 1948 - April 24, 2015. Larry L. Wharton, born October 23, 1948 in South Bend, Indiana, passed away on April 24, 2015 near his home in Florida. He was preceded in death by his father Donald E Wharton, mother Mary L. Tripp, stepfather Elmus R. Tripp, sister Charlotte A. Wharton and sister Susan K. Nyikos. He is survived by his wife, Madeleine J. Wharton; son, Matthew D. Wharton; stepdaughter, Angie R. Handley; and stepson, Chad Simkins. As an amazing grandfather, Larry loved and was loved by his six grandchildren, Brandon Ward, Colby Simkins, Zion Simkins, Kaisee Handley, Riley Handley and Ryan Handley. Larry was an Active member of AA, a 32nd degree Free Mason, Reynoldsburg Lodge 340. He attended both Christian and Catholic churches during his lifetime. He was a graduate of Purdue University (BSEE) and Indiana University (MBA). Larry enjoyed his grandchildren, fishing, landscaping, gardening, golf (sometimes), wood working and antique refinishing. Whitt Vicki Lynn Whitt, 14 November 1969 - 28 April 2015. Vicki L. Whitt, 45, of Galloway, Ohio unexpectedly went to be with the Lord on 28 April 2015. She will be sadly missed. Vicki had a heart of gold and was an angel to all she met. She is survived by her beloved husband, Bryan Baltzer; her sons, Christopher Meadows and Nicholas Meadows (Ashley Abbott); her daughter, Sierra Meadows; her parents, Clyde and Lana Whitt; her brother, Michael Whitt (Noppamas); and her sister, Cynthia Dilworth (Forrest Lohner). She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Morgan and Faye Meadows and Steven Ramsey III; her nephews, Jordan Dilworth and Brice Tidrick; and her nieces, Heather Tate (Chris Tate), Stacy Dilworth, and Christal and Natasha Whitt. Wiley, LaDonna Lynn  
Wiley LaDonna Lynn Wiley, 1968-2015. "Smile, even when you're down. It will make you feel better, and make those around you feel better, even strangers in the grocery store. Such a small thing can cause so much positive energy." It's these small, simple words that show what a kind, charismatic, and compassionate person LaDonna was. She grew up in Holbrook and Flagstaff, Az., in 2000, LaDonna moved to Ohio. She had a constant thirst of knowledge and when she had the chance she would always educate others so they could better themselves. It was a bitter sweet passing of LaDonna Lynn Wiley on April 7, 2015. She is finally reunited with her son, Andrew Jonathan Anderson Wiley, who passed away on October 26, 2014, whom she loved more than anything. She will be dearly missed by her parents, Perry J. and Julia H. Wiley; her siblings, Belinda, John, Eric, Annjeanette, Rose and Trista; as well as relatives and an abundance of friends in Arizona and Ohio. She will be particularly missed by all her 'stray children' who called AJ 'brother' and LaDonna 'Mom'! Woodworth Thomas "Cougar" Woodworth, 72, of Baltimore, passed away at his home on Monday, April 27, 2015 surrounded by his family. He was a former member of the Columbus SE Lions Club and a member of the Baltimore VFW. Tom was the co-owner of American Press Printing for 30 years and was a 25 year member of Fairfield Fish and Game. He was a lifelong fan of NASCAR and Dale Earnhardt. He is survived by his children, Christine Carruthers and Kathleen Crego; grandchild, Jonathan Carruthers; brother, Scott Woodworth; nephew, Allen Woodworth; brother, John (Hazel) Woodworth; nephew, Brian Woodworth. Tom is preceded in death by his parents William and Virginia Woodworth. The memorial service will be held on Friday, May 1, 2015 at 7 p.m. at the JOHNSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME located at 207 S. Main St. in Baltimore with Pastor Patrick McKinley officiating. Friends and family may visit from 5-7 p.m. prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.
