Gaines Cathy Lynn (Smith) Gaines, age 51, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2015. She was born in Columbus, OH on May 31, 1964. Cathy graduated from Centennial High School in 1982. She was preceded in death by son Jonathon Larcher, father Earnest C. Smith, step-father Martin V. Chapman Jr. and brother Michael Smith. Survived by her husband, Tim Gaines; children, Christy and Mark Larcher; mother, Ruth Chapman; stepmother, Karol Sagar; brothers, Mark (Jeanette), Charles (Arlene) and Paul (Jenny) Smith; sister-in-law, Susan Smith; four grandchildren; a stepson; four step-sisters and three step-brothers. Family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd. Gandy, Lester Lewis  
Gandy Lester Lewis Gandy, 55, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2015. He was born January 18, 1960 in Georgiana, Alabama. Les worked many years as a subcontractor through Nelson Tree Service. He was a crazy Alabama Roll Tide football fanatic. He loved his grandchildren dearly and enjoyed going to their events. He is preceded in death by his father Irvin Gandy and brother LeRoy Gandy. Les is survived by his wife of 37 years, Gayle Gandy; son, Stephen (Megan Bailey) Shugart; grandchildren, Koryn "Boobie", Nathaniel "Dog", and Emma Shugart; mother, Myree Gandy; brother, Willie (Elizabeth) Gandy; sisters, Gladys Gandy, Margaret "Ann" Gandy, and Dorothy (Alfonzo) Tillman; and many other relatives and dear friends. Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. Friday, July 3, 2015 at the SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL, 3030 W. Gibson Letha "Ninny" Gibson, 86, of Harrisburg, passed away on June 25, 2015. Born on February 4, 1929 to the late Donald B. and Eunice N. (Burgess) Criswell in Gore, OH. Survived by children, Tonda (Donald) Craig, John H. (Sheila) Gibson III, Donald A. Gibson and Guy A. (Marsha) Gibson; grandchildren, Jim Spencer, Kris (Mitch) Thompson, John H. Gibson IV, Deanna (Aaron) Spencer, Robin Stillwell, Constance (Nick) Drake and Sara (Josh) Stephens; several great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren; sister, Joie Livingston. Gloyd, Renie  
Gloyd Renie Gloyd went to be with our heavenly Father on June 18, 2015 after a brief illness. She was 67. She was born in Regensburg, Germany, and at 7 years of age moved with her parents, Susie and Hans Loeffler, to Fostoria, Ohio, where she grew up. She graduated from Fostoria High School in 1967. Renie raised her two sons, Jason and Andrew Martin, in Worthington. In recent years, she enjoyed looking after her grandchildren in Worthington and chasing after her dog Rudy. Renie was known for her thoughtfulness, her love and concern for others and her giving nature, as well as her German "spunk"; family members and many friends admired her for these qualities. She will be sadly missed. She is holding hands with her husband, James Gloyd, who passed in 2013, and her son, Jason Martin, who passed in 2008. She is also predeceased by her parents. Renie is survived by her son, Andrew (Helen) Martin; her two step-children, Sarah (Hasan) Yacoub and Matthew (Rachael) Gloyd; and her daughter-in-law, Loucile Powers. She was "Omi" to six Martin grandchildren including Griffin, Samson, Sayla, all of Worthington, and Caroline, Marguerite, and Theodore of Norton; and five step-grandchildren including Trent Gloyd of Annapolis, and Dalia, Farrah, Amina and Kamrie Yacoub, of Columbus. Family and friends may call on from 1-3 p.m., Friday, June 26, 2015, at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 N. Goodwin Ruby M. Goodwin, 85, of Columbus, passed on June 25, 2015. She was born January 18, 1930 in Greenup, KY to Virgil and Edna Wolfe who preceded her in death. She was also preceded by her husband Miles O. Goodwin, siblings Homer Wolfe, Billy Wolfe, Mary Fee, and Virgie Campbell. Survivors include two sons, Virgil M. Goodwin and Michael L. Goodwin. She attended Southwest Freewill Baptist Church. No services are scheduled, burial of the cremains will take place at a family cemetery in Greenup, Kentucky at a later date. Gove, Eleaner Jane  
Gove Eleaner Jane Gove, age 99, of Columbus and Urbana, passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2015, surrounded by family at Vancrest of Urbana. She was born on September 22, 1915, to Mary Elizabeth Karg Rooney and Thomas Rooney in Springfield, Ohio. She was a 1933 graduate of Urbana High School and married Roger Madden Gove in 1938. Jane was instrumental in her husband Roger's accomplishments in his long term career in the field of mental health and disabilities. Together they were among the founders of the Council for Retarded Children in Franklin County in which they were active for many years. Jane was a long-time member of Parkview United Methodist Church in Columbus and, more recently, became a member of the Urbana United Methodist Church upon moving to Hearth and Home. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Gladys Hunter, husband Roger, daughter Joann, and son Jon. She is survived by daughter, Janet (David) Dye of Mutual, Ohio; and daughter, Judith Gove of Grove City, Ohio; as well as nieces, Ginny Petty and Harriet Yelin. She adored and was adored by her nine grandchildren, Jennifer (Ken) Miller, Rebecca (Ron) Heron, Stephen (Rebecca) Dye, Amy (Scott) Blanton, Sarah (Paul) Kelly, Daniel (Yasmin) Dye, Kevin (Emmanuelle) Webb, Jon B. (Carrie) Gove and Bryan (Jill) Gove; and 28 great-grandchildren. She will be remembered as one having a true servant's heart by all who knew her, especially her grateful family. Main St., Urbana, Ohio, and Saturday, June 27, 2015 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the Urbana United Methodist Church, 238 N. Main St., Urbana. Green, Brian Joseph  
Green Brian Joseph Green, July 21, 1958 to March 12, 2015. Brian was preceded in death by his parents Robert "Bob" and Gail Green of Upper Arlington. Brian is survived by his brothers, Robert Jr. (Bob) Green (Marcy) Boca Raton, FL, Jeff Green (Cathy) Acworth, GA and John Green (Angie) Upper Arlington, OH; daughter, Ryleigh of Abilene, TX; nieces, Cara, Elyse and Jacquelin; nephews, Nick, Dylan, Gabe and Mason Green. A funeral was held in Abilene TX, where Brian had lived since 1986, on Thursday, March 19, 2015. The family welcomes Brian's friends and family in the Columbus area to a "Celebration of Brian's Life" on Thursday, July 2 at 6:30 p.m. at Wedgewood Country Club, Powell, OH. No flowers please.
