Ray, Joseph Alan  
Ray Joseph Alan Ray, 30 years old, of Columbus, Ohio, born at Riverside Hospital March 9, 1985. Graduate of Whetstone High School, attended Sinclair Community College in Dayton, OH. Was a member of many churches throughout the Dayton, OH, Columbus, OH and even the Richmond, IN areas. A few things about Joseph, he never lost his faith! He could recite probably every verse in the bible and he was looked up to because of how strong his faith always was. His heart was huge for the ones he cared about and loved. This is certainly a life taken way too soon. Joe was an amazing son, the best brother in the world, his niece and nephew will say he was the greatest uncle ever, and his precious daughter, Kyleigh Elizabeth, will tell you he was the utmost best father on this entire earth. Preceded in death by mother Norma Jean VanScoy and father Randolph Alan Ray. Survived by daughter, Kyleigh Ray; sister, Sarah Ray; niece, Rachel Ray; and nephew, Jacob Ray; and numerous other family and friends whom were very loved as well. Reed, James Donald  
Reed James Donald Reed, 80, of Delaware, died peacefully on February 6, 2016. Born October 30, 1935, to the late Ralph and Pearl (Huffman) Reed in Milford Center, Ohio. Jim graduated from Ohio State University in electrical engineering and worked as a computer programmer. He was employed by the Electro-Science Lab at OSU and North Electric. Jim was kind and gentle. He loved to garden and work in his greenhouse. Survived by his wife of 52 years, Ruth Ann (Washabaugh) Reed; sister, Donnabelle Scott; sons, Tim (Bobbi), Mark (Charlotte); grandchildren, Emma, Natalie, Poppy, and Alex; nieces and nephews, Kevin (Debbie) Scott, Brenda (Chuck) Crum, Karen Rodriguez, David (Julie) Yinger, Greg (Leisa) Yinger, Erik (Kenna) Niceswanger. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Liberty Presbyterian Church, 7080 Olentangy River Rd., Delaware, Ohio. Visitation at 1 p.m. and service at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Robbins, Harvey J.  
Robbins Harvey J. Robbins, age 74, died February 2, 2016. Harvey was born in Columbus, Ohio, on April 2, 1941, the son of Ralph Herrick and Virginia (Ingold) Robbins. He was retired from the Ohio Department of Transportation and was an owner of rental properties in Victorian Village. Harvey graduated from Bexley High School in 1959 and The Ohio State University. He enjoyed the symphony and ballet and loved the museums of Paris and London. He was a kind man who was loved by his family and friends. Along with his parents, Harvey is preceded in death by his good friend Marlin Sprouse. He is survived by his wife, Susanna (Brown) Robbins; sons, Eric (Renee) Robbins and Dane (Courtney Segovis) Robbins; grand-daughters, Eleanor, Helen, Irene and Annette Robbins; sisters, Joyce Barteldt and Roxane (Gary) Chadwick; uncle, Robert Robbins; nephews, Richard (Barbara) Barteldt, William (Sharon) Barteldt; Christopher (Elizabeth Anderson) Chadwick; niece, Amy Chadwick; and several great nieces and great nephews. There will be a memorial service on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 2 p.m. at the Goodale Park gazebo. Rodgers, Dorothy Foster (Avis)  
Rodgers Dorothy Foster (Avis) Rodgers, passed away on January 30, 2016 at The Forum at Knightsbridge in Columbus, Ohio. Dorothy was born August 5, 1919 to William and Lou Avis in Circleville, Ohio. She was a graduate of Circleville High School and married Ralph A. Rodgers on August 16, 1942. Ralph passed away on January 16, 1986 after a wonderful life and marriage together. Dorothy lived in Upper Arlington, Ohio all her married and adult life. She was a competitive bridge player, a member of the Nationwide Children's TWIG charity, and an avid Ohio State University athletics fan. Her favorite Buckeye story was that she and Ralph walked to Ohio Stadium from their Arlington home for the 1950 "Snow Bowl". She is survived by relatives, Carol Tomastik Sheets, Sedona, AZ and Marla Tomastik, Upper Arlington, OH. Dorothy's good cheer and zest for life will be missed by neighbors and her dear friends James and Susan Peppe, Upper Arlington, OH and their family. Margaret was very outgoing and never met a stranger. She is preceded in death by her husband Rolyson "Rolly" Root, son Larry Root sister Florence Ellen, brothers Lee and Billy Hook. Margaret is survived by her children, Garry (Serita) Root, Debbie (Mike) Del Vesco; grandchildren, Timothy Root, Don (Robin) Seymour, Pepper Root, Larry Root, Sheena (Matt) Erney; five great grandchildren; two great- great grandchildren; brothers, John Hook, Floyd Hook Jr.; sisters, Mary Noel, Ruthann Griffth.
