Tague, Ron 1944 - 2018 Edgar Ronald "Ron" Tague, age 73, of Pataskala, passed away surrounded by his loving family on January 9, 2018 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. He was born on June 25, 1944 to the late Edgar A. and Evelyn J. (Rothgeb) Tague in Columbus, OH. Graduated from Linden McKinley High School in 1962, volunteer firefighter for West Licking Joint Fire District, West Licking Firefighter's Association member, President for 20 years, was an advisor for the West Licking Explorer Post, assisted with purchasing and setting up a smoke house for the district, and assists with the Support Truck, Summit Seniors Treasurer since 2012, cooked and served meals at Faith Mission with Cross Point Christian Church, where he attended. Ron was a Data Processing with Rockwell and a System Analyst for Tween Brands. Ron is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Linda (Koehler) Tague; children, Lori (Jim) Anthony and Jeni (Brett) Shriver; grandchildren, Melody Anthony, Chase and Tanner Shriver; sister, Janice (Herb) Van Dyke; sisters-in-law, Norma Lee Ziegler, Lou Ann Underwood and Sue Koehler; many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd., Columbus, OH on Friday, January 12, 2018 from 5pm until time of memorial service at 7pm with Jim Kincaid officiating. Taylor, Mary  
Taylor, Mary Mary Elizabeth Taylor, age 93, of Reynoldsburg, passed away on January 12, 2018. Mary was born February 4, 1924 to the late Joseph and Lillie (Fugett) Martin in Catlettsburg, KY. She was a loving mother & grandmother. Mary was an avid Buckeye fan, enjoyed bowling, traveling and especially spending time with her family. She was the former director of ABC Playschool where she was adoringly known as "Miss Mary". Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Charles "Bud" Taylor; infant daughter, Laura Taylor; siblings, T.C. Martin, Anna Goldstein, Robert Martin and Ernie Martin. She is survived by her children, Pastor Curtis R (Linda) Taylor and Ann (Tim) Kerscher; stepdaughter, Linda (Len) Burkhart; grandchildren, Amy Taylor, Keri (Mark) Blanton, Matt (Morgan) Taylor, Angie Crawford (Scott Moore), Sherri Ross (Marty Woodard), Leslie (John) Thornton, Craig Kerscher; 23 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Ruth Martin; and numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on THURSDAY, January 18, 2018, from 5 - 8 pm, at PFEIFER FUNERAL HOME, Reynoldsburg, where her funeral will follow on Friday, 11 am, with Pastor Timothy Burden officiating. Jean is survived by her son, David (Barbara) Thompson; a granddaughter, Kim (Kristian) Ekholm; a grandson, David (Jackie) Dorman; and 4 great-grandchildren, Jaren Dorman, Kaylee Dorman, Regan Davis, and Kahle Ekholm; and 3 sisters. Thompson, Joan 1931 - 2018 Joan Thompson, age 86, of Delaware, formerly of Lancaster, died Sunday, January 7, 2018 at Willow Brook Christian Village. She was born September 23, 1931 in Lesage, West Virginia to the late Harold and Geneva Fulks. Joan worked for Red Such Insurance Agency in Bexley, OH; before retiring as HR Director for the State of Ohio Auditors office. She loved her home in Lancaster, Ohio, enjoyed her cocker spaniels and was a wonderful gardener. Preceded in death by her husband, Donald G. Thompson. Joan is survived by her children, David (Shelley) Thompson, Newton, NC and Donna (Steve) Reynolds, Delaware, OH; grandchildren, Scott Thompson, Hickory, NC and Stephanie Thompson, Hillsborough, NC; sisters, Phyllis Green, Columbus, OH and Lois Mitchell, Gallipolis, OH; many other family and friends. The family would like to thank the staff at Capital City Hospice and Cherith Care Center at Willow Brook for their thoughtful and compassionate care. Towns, Marcelene, Cecile Marcelene Cecile Towns, age 80, passed away December 30, 2017. "Cil" was born in Columbus, Ohio, to the late James Wand Florene Huckleby on October 1, 1937. Cil graduated from Columbus East High School and Franklin University with a BS in Accounting. She was employed at Timkens Roller Bearing Co. and J. C. Penney. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Charlene Sharp, niece Pamela Parker, and nephew Anthony Sharp. Cil is survived by her children, Jack A. (Veda) Glenn, Carmella Glenn, and Gregory (Desiree) Glenn; siblings, Rev. Walda Johnson, Karen Warren, and James W (Linda) Huckleby, Jr.; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Traugh, Robert  
Traugh, Robert 1927 - 2018 Robert E. Traugh, age 90, of Columbus, died Friday, January 12, 2018 at Doctor's Hospital. He served in the U.S. Navy and retired from General Motors/Fisher Body after 38 years as a tool and die maker. Robert was a longtime member of Westside Freewill Baptist Church and an avid hunter. He was a proud father and grandfather and took exceptional pride in his family. He is preceded in death by his brothers, John and Hubert Traugh. Robert is survived by his wife of 69 years, Betty; sons, R. Michael (Diane) Traugh, Ph.D. and Mark S. Traugh, D.D.S.; grandchildren; Julie (Mark) Johnson, Lisa (James) Grove, Eric Traugh, and Andrea Traugh; great grandchildren, Lauren and David Grove, Kelsey Johnson, and Cambryn Ware; sister-in-law, Nelva Traugh; other relatives and friends. Truitt, Rev. Charlotte Frances "Fran" 1922 - 2018 Rev. Charlotte Frances "Fran" Truitt, 95, passed away peacefully at Sunrise of Dublin on January 6, 2018. Fran was born February 8, 1922 in Newark, Ohio. She is survived by her children, Mary Elizabeth O'Brien (Carter), Robert Truitt Carter (Dee); son-in-law, Richard P. O'Brien; grandchildren, Mary Margaret O'Brien, Joseph Corey O'Brien; brother, J.T. Truitt (Phyllis); sister-in-law, Kay Truitt; and much-loved nieces and nephews. Fran is preceded in death by her husband Rev. Dr. Robert H. Bonthius, parents Frank W. Truitt Sr. and Charlotte Hook Truitt, sister Mary Evelyn Truitt Dawson, brother Frank W. Truitt Jr. She attended Worthington High School (class of 1940), Ohio State University and Methodist Theological Seminary in Delaware, Ohio with a MA in Christian Education and a Master of Divinity. She was ordained by the United Church of Christ in 1979. She is a former Youth Director of Columbus YWCA, President of Columbus Family Life and Sex Education Council, Minister of Education at First Community Church and Broad Street United Methodist Church, a founding member and Past President of the National Board of Witness for Peace, Washington, D.C., recipient of the Maine Martin Luther King Award for Community Service 1989, recipient of Partners for the Future Award from Southern Poverty Law Center 2007, Who's Who of American Women 1997-1998 and Who' Who in Religion 2000.
