Zarzyczny James W. Zarzyczny,age 74, passed away March 20, 2017. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Sue of 46 years, his parents Paul and Betty Zarzyczny and brother Craig Zarzyczny. He is survived by daughters, Deborah (John) Zarzyczny, Colleen (Al) Katz, and Sara E. Zarzyczny; siblings, Jerry ( Linda) Zarzyczny, Carol Ann Budd, Susie Baca, Mary Margaret Trafford, Paul (Ray) Zarzyczny, Tina (Donna) Zarzyczny, Robbie (Cathy) Zarzyczny; sister-in-law, Carol Zarzyczny; granddaughter, Miranda Katz; Goddaughter, Kiersten Betker. James was a graduate of The Ohio State University, earning a Master's in Education. To complement his college career he served in the Navy during the Vietnam War and was a decorated veteran. He was a lifelong and devoted member of the Lutheran Church. James retired from Elgin School District in Marion County. A visitation will be held at Christ Lutheran Church, 2314 E. Main St., Bexley, OH 43209 Friday, March 24, 2017 from 1-3 p.m. with a funeral service directly following at 3 p.m. A graveside service will take place Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Marion Cemetery in Marion OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in James's memory to The Capital Area Humane Society in Columbus Ohio. Zipperlen, Arlene E.  
Zipperlen Arlene E. Zipperlen, 89, of Columbus, passed away Thursday, March 16, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. Arlene was born in Cleveland, OH on April 1, 1927 to Walter and Edna (Swanson) Terpenny and is preceded in death by her parents, daughter Karen L. Zipperlen, sister Florence Elliott, brothers Gordon and Russell Terpenny. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, William D. Zipperlen; daughter, Joyce A. Zipperlen; grandchild, Beth (Bill) Bussa; great-grandson, Brendan; additional family members, niece, Terryann (Steve) Hartig, Diane Peters and Dr. Wayne A. Zipperlen; nieces, nephews and many friends. Arlene was a graduate of Columbus North High School, attended OSU and lived in Minerva Park since 1959. She was a kind, gentle, loving, generous person and will be missed by all who knew her. Private family burial was observed.
