Beckett Viola Beckett, age 75, went to be with the Lord January 25, 2015. Preceded in death by son Russell and granddaughter Oma Lee Justice. Survived by sons, Brady (Barb) and Mickey (Anita); grandchildren, Brandon Beckett, Britney (David) Arthur, Carl (Jeanetta) Becket, Tabitha (Trevor) Stevens, and T.J. Stevens; great-grandchildren, Mahliki, Jace, Kyra, Kirsten, Tamera, Shaniah, Josh, Alexis, Deanna; many nieces and nephews; friends and family. Viola was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend to many. She lived her life for the Lord. Beeghly Ireta F. Beeghly, age 86, Monday, January 26, 2015 Mt. Carmel East Hospital. She served as a pastors wife for over 30 years in the E.U.B and the United Methodist Church in Western, New York. She held a Lay Ministers license in the United Methodist Church and enjoyed participating in Lay Witness Missions. Preceded in death by husbands Rev. E. Loye Donelson and Stanley Kellogg, parents Charlie E. and Mabel Anderson Flowers, sisters Gertrude, Leota, June, Waunita, brother Eugene. Survived by son, Fred (Brenda) Donelson; granddaughters, Ashley (Matthijs) Veldhuyzen, Lindsey Donelson, Chelsea Donelson; great grandson, Tristen Veldhuyzen. Bissell, Donald Lee  
Bissell Donald Lee Bissell, born September 25, 1946, son of Mary and Vernon Lee Bissell, in Barnesville, Ohio, died January 15, 2015 at home in the loving care of his family. Don graduated from Barnesville High School in 1964. He served four years in the U.S. Navy, including two tours of duty in the Gulf of Tonkin during the Vietnam War aboard the USS Mahan as Radarman Second Class. Upon discharge, Don attended the Cleveland Institute of Electronics and earned his First Class FCC license. Don worked thirty-four years with WOSU Public Media at the WPBO-TV transmitter in Portsmouth, Ohio, before relocating to Columbus, Ohio. Don is predeceased by his parents and his brother Steven Bissell. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Sue Daniels Bissell; daughters, Karolyn (Edward) Braum, Lynnette (Bryan Turner) Bissell, and Dianna (Travis) Spencer. He is also survived by his five grandaughters, Emma and Jane Braum, Eloise and Charlotte Grace Turner, and Josephine Spencer; as well as extended family members. Don was a talented woodworker who made beautiful furniture for his family. He could fix anything and enjoyed surprising his family with clever solutions to repair problems. His hobbies included computers, guitar, and HAM radio station WK8W. Don suffered traumatic brain injury and spinal cord injury in a motorcycle accident in 2005, but remained a loving husband, father, and grandfather up to his passing. His quick humor, ready smile and loving arms will be greatly missed by his family. At Don's request, there will be no service. His family thanks his health care team at OSU Wexner Medical Center and OhioHealth Hospice. Blair, Roger Sobel  
Blair Roger Sobel Blair, age 71, passed away on January 25, 2015. Preceded in death by his parents Adrian and Gladys Blair. He is survived by his wife, Sherran Blair; daughters, Kory Blair, Dee Kates and Kay Rothman; sister, Joan Blair (Don Schuler); grandchildren, Andrea and Kevin Kates; brother-in-law, Doug (Joyce) Simson. He received a BA from Otterbein College, a JD from the Univ. of Toledo School of Law and was admitted to the bar in 1968. He was Executive Vice President and General Counsel of First Community Bank. Over the years, some of the positions he has held have been: serving as the legal council for Ohio Governor James Rhodes; serving on the Governor's Task Force for the Division of Financial Institutions; an Ohio State Banking Commissioner; and the Ohio Banker's Assoc. Government Relations Chair. Funeral services and interment will be led by Rabbi Misha Zinkow and held in Brooklyn, NY. The family will be sitting Shiva led by Rabbi Areyah Kaltmann on Sunday at their home, 4670 Tensweep in New Albany at 7 p.m. and will receive visitors from 4-7 p.m. prior. In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to Otterbein University, OSU James Cancer Hospital, Lori Schottenstein Chabad House or Temple Israel in his memory. Burtch, Nancy McNeal  
Burtch Nancy McNeal Burtch, of Upper Arlington, Ohio, passed away on January 26, 2015 in a car accident. She was born on March 13, 1952 to Ruth McNeal and the late Richard McNeal, sister to Debbi Wood and Michael McNeal. Nancy was a loving, generous, energetic and vivacious person. She is survived by her husband, John Burtch; daughters, Kelly, Annie, Molly and Maggie; sons-in-law, Chris Dusseau and Jim Stair; grandsons, Henry, Max and Bryce Dusseau, and Jack and Parker Stair. Nancy loved her family and was a bright light in the lives of all she met. She loved spending time with her husband, daughters and grandsons, loved her dog Ellie and all animals. There will be a memorial celebration on Monday, February 2 at 5 p.m. at First Community Church, 1320 Cambridge Boulevard in Columbus, Ohio, childcare available. Butcher, Ryan David  
Butcher Ryan David Butcher, 37, of Columbus, OH, passed away on January 30, 2015. He was born in Columbus on February 24, 1977 to Kenton and Anne (Dunn) Butcher. Other family includes siblings, Wade (Michelle) Butcher, Megan Butcher, nieces, Lea and Dakota; nephews, Hunter and Deven. He also leaves behind many family and friends. Ryan had a passion for music playing bass guitar with Cringe and Philo. Campbell Donna Lee Campbell, age 85, of Columbus, died Monday, January 19, 2015 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, where she had previously worked in housekeeping. Carlyle Euola Carlyle, age 86, of Columbus, died unexpectedly January 29, 2015 at her home. She retired from National Electric Coil in 1974. Eoula enjoyed bingo and euchre, most recently playing regularly at Whetstone Community Center. She is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Branch D. Carlyle in 2011, parents Martin and Callie Doss, sisters Emma Long and Eleanor Frazier. She is survived by son, Gary (Karen) Frazier; grandchildren, Dean (Kim) and Brad (Kelly) Frazier and Jessica (Jeff) Phillips; great grandchildren, Justin, Jordan (Kristin), and Myles Frazier and Levi Phillips; sisters, Ora Holiday and Phyllis (Edward) Chadwick; brother, Avil (Lorine) Doss; many other relatives and friends. Carnes, Deborah Joyce  
Carnes Deborah Joyce Carnes of Upper Arlington, Ohio, passed away on January 18, 2014 in her home in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was born on January 14, 1951 to the late Harry and Dorothy Leggett, sister to David Leggett and the late Daniel Leggett. Debbie was a beautiful person with an even more beautiful heart. She is survived by her husband, Allen Carnes; son, Ryan; and daughter, Abby along with son-in-law, Daniel Mortenson; and nieces and nephews. Debbie was passionate about her family and friends and loved to bring laughter and joy to everyone she met. She was an advocate for those battling ALS, a volunteer for her church, and a lover of animals. She loved children and worked as a child care worker for some years. Debbie was someone who made everyone feel at home. There will be a memorial celebration on Saturday, January 31st at 2 p.m. at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Columbus, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to ALS Association.
