Burgert, Kent W.  
Burgert Kent W. Burgert, age 64, of Upper Arlington, died unexpectedly, Wednesday, June 15, 2016. He was born November 5, 1951 in Columbus, son of the William and Lorraine (Reimann) Burgert. Kent was a longtime physical education teacher at West and Beechcroft High Schools and men's varsity basketball coach at Beechcroft and Columbus West High School retiring in 2007 after 30 years of service. He also was a pro shop employee at The OSU Golf Club for 43 years. Kent will be sorely missed and is survived by his wife of 37 years, Joan (MacWood) Burgert; son, Brendan Burgert; daughter, Keeley Burgert; mother, Lorraine Burgert; sister, Lisa Burgert; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Pam MacWood, Patty and Frank Alvarez, Nancy and Bob Brandon, Peggy MacWood and Dick MacWood; numerous nieces, nephews and many, many friends. He was preceded in death by his father William Burgert, brother Barry Burgert; father-in-law and mother-in-law George and Lucile MacWood and brother-in-law Thomas MacWood. Kent received his Bachelor and Master's degrees from The Ohio State University. He was a member of St. Andrew Parish, where he was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Road. A Memorial Mass will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 1899 McCoy Rd at Reed Rd, with Fr. Tony Davis, Celebrant. Burgess, Clyde Estle  
Burgess Clyde Estle Burgess, age 68, passed away on Friday, June 24, 2016, at home surrounded by his family. An avid hunter, he enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially in Hocking Hills where he enjoyed staying at his cabin and also building cabins; he retired from Honda of America and was also an OSU Buckeye fan. He is survived by his wife, Cheryl (Holzhofer) Burgess; daughter, Sheila Burgess; son, Clyde "Tony" Burgess and his wife, Tammie; grandchildren, Danielle Cabassa, Clyde Braxton Burgess, Brandon John-Anthony Burgess; and step-grandson, Nathan Getz; step great-granddaughter, Chloe Getz; brother, Bernard Burgess. He is preceded in death by his parents Elmer and Molly Burgess, sisters Shirley, Mary, Frances, Delphine, Tiny and Phyllis, brothers Ronald and William. His family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 from 4-8 p.m. at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 West Fifth Avenue. Buskirk Beverly J. Buskirk, 86, of Grove City and formerly Mt. Sterling, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2016. Bev was born in Mt. Sterling, OH to the late Frank and Cecile (Saint) Armentrout and is also preceded in death by her husband James Roger Buskirk, sister Mazie (Armentrout) Keen and nephew Louis E. Keen. She is survived by her great-niece, Kristina (Thomas) Cronin; great-nephew, Richard (Laura) Keen; and six great-great-nieces and nephews. Bev worked for Manheim Ohio Auto Auction for 11 years. Calendine, Richard Harley  
Calendine Richard Harley Calendine, October 25, 1939-June 17, 2016, of Vero Beach, FL, died from complications following surgery. He was born in Parkersburg, WV, the youngest of four children of Harley and Margaret Calendine. Richard received his BA from West Virginia Wesleyan College, and his MA in psychology from Ohio State University. He was a licensed psychologist and the director of Student Financial Aid at Columbus State Community College. He was involved in many organizations and community service. He was an Eagle Scout, B.S.A. He received the Distinguished Service Order from the Grand Lodge of Theta Xi Fraternity. He was Chairman of the Board of Deacons and Ruling Elder in his Presbyterian church, and sang in the choir for many years. He was a member of New England Lodge No. 4 and F&A.M., Worthington, Ohio with both York and Scottish Rites of Freemasonry completed. Genealogy was his passion. He was past Vice-President General and President General of the Order of the Crown of Charlemagne; past Presiding Clerk of National Society Descendants of Early Quakers; past Historian and past Third Vice-President General of National Society Americans of Royal Descent, and belonged to many other groups. Richard was preceded in death by his brother Calvin and sister Pauline. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Georgeann Ferree Allard, whom he met when they were both graduate students at Ohio State; two daughters, Caren Ferree (Mrs. Gerald Stayer) and Michelle Louise DuBois (Mrs. Jeffrey Wheeler); and three grandchildren, Sophia, Colin and Joshua. Campbell, Brenda Marie (Gfell)  
Campbell Brenda Marie (Gfell) Campbell, 75, went to be with our Heavenly Father on June 25, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband Garry Campbell, her parents Mary Jane Catherine (West) and Robert Lucas Gfell, and infant granddaughter Isabella Marie Campbell. She is survived by her loving son, Christopher and daughter-in-law, Angela of Powell, OH; grandchildren, Mallory and Aaron; sisters, Roberta Knight of Phoenix, AZ, Eleanor Smith of West Lafayette, OH, Sally McMorrow (Junior) of Norwalk, OH; brother, James Gfell (Donna) of Browns Mills, NJ; and numerous nieces and nephews. Brenda was born in Norwalk, OH on November 7, 1940. She grew up in Monroeville, OH and graduated from Monroeville High School in 1959. She was a homemaker, worked for Drs. Art and Robert Magnuson previously, and retired from the Ohio Department of Transportation. Brenda loved being with her family and was known for generously giving out gifts wherever she went. She enjoyed crafting andspending time at Lake Erie with her husband. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church and will be remembered as a loving and kind friend, wife, mother, grandmother and sister. A private memorial service will be held at the Liberty Presbyterian Church in Powell, OH. Caner, Randy Hal  
Caner Randy Hal Caner, passed away at home surrounded by family on June 10, 2016, in Broomfield, Colorado. He was 62 years old. Randy was born March 2, 1954 in Columbus, Ohio to George and Peggy (Instine) Gust. He was adopted by his step father, Richard Caner, in 1956. Randy attended Regis University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Computer and Information Science degree. He relocated to the Longmont area in 1975 and married Mary Tracy on August 18, 1979. Randy began his career with IBM, working in security for 10 years before becoming an IBM IT Architect. Randy worked as an IT Architect at IBM for 25 years. He retired in March of 2010. Randy was an active member in his community serving as a member of Partners, the Frederick Volunteer Fire Department, the Pinewood Springs Fire Department, the Clerk of Session for the Pinewood Springs Community Church, and was a lifelong Presbyterian. Randy loved music and played the guitar, drums and piano. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, hiking, and brewing home-made beer. Randy was preceded in death by his parents, son Joshua David Caner and foster son Lupe Hernandez. He is survived by his wife, Mary Louise Tracy Caner; son, Tyson Caner; foster children, Angel Guzman, Kevin Townsend, Teresa Townsend, Dimity Townsend Halley Gimm, Zach Gimm, Keisha Gimm, Tyler Bankston Oscar, and Roger Lipe; brothers, Ric Caner, Bill Gust, Mike Gust, Brad Gust, and David Caner; sisters, Alison Caner, Cori Gust, Kathy Gust, and Michelle Gust; foster grandchildren, Makenzie and JD, Jaxon and Melanie Rose, Joshua, Josiah, and Jeremiah; and many other children who think of Randy as their dad and mentor including Caleb Liesveld, Casey and Adam Fulford, and Tobias Donahue. A memorial service was held Monday, June 13, 2016 at the AHLBERG FUNERAL CHAPEL and CREMATORY in Longmont, CO. Castro, Zoë Elizabeth  
Castro Zoë Elizabeth Castro, age 23, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away June 22, 2016 unexpectedly after living with a chronic illness for many years. She was born in Columbus, Ohio to Erika and Sergio Castro. Zoë was an incredibly creative person who loved traveling to Guatemala with her dad and cooking delicious meals for her boyfriend Ronald Givens. Her friends knew her for her wonderful sense of humor and her loyalty and sweetness. Zoë leaves behind her parents, brothers Diego and Xavi, maternal grandparents David and Patricia Holstein, paternal grandfather Florencio Castro and many aunts, uncles and cousins both here in the US as well as Guatemala. Zoë adored her brothers, Diego and Xavi. If you would like to honor her life with a donation to their college fund we know this would make her very happy. Chamberlain, David Carl  
Chamberlain David Carl Chamberlain, 54, of New Albany, Ohio, died peacefully on June 21, 2016 at home. David was born November 9, 1961 in Fremont, Ohio to Lucille (Burgener) Chamberlain and the late Richard Chamberlain. He was a graduate of St. Joseph Central Catholic High School and the University of Cincinnati. David's career life included a blend of customer service, telecommunications and software implementation. He devoted time as a volunteer youth recreation coach which allowed him many opportunities to be with his children and influence the lives of other young people. Dave thought of everyone he encountered as a person deserving of kindness and respect. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his devoted wife of 27 years, Christine (Kolbe) Chamberlain; children, Laura Lucille, Teresa Ann, Thomas David, Victor Carl and David Richard; sister, Sharon (Michael) Malczewski; brothers, Gary (Rose), Michael (Didi) and Stephen (Judy) Chamberlain; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and cherished friends. Family will welcome friends 6:30-8:30 p.m. Saturday, June 25, 2016 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E.
