Jamieson, Kimberly Lynn
Jamieson Kimberly Lynn Jamieson, age 60, passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2016. Preceded in death by her father William M. Jamieson and mother Margie I. Jamieson. Survived by brothers, William M. Jamieson III and J. Scott Jamieson; and several nieces and nephews. Kim was very appreciative of the help and assistance provided by Scott's wife, Missy. Kim was a graduate of Worthington High School. Kim was employed for more than 10 years as an area manager for Pizza Hut, when she turned down a promotion and decided to pursue her true passion of training dogs. Kim obtained her Professional Certification as a Master Trainer of Dogs and started her own business of Pawed Partners. Satisfied customers raved about her ability to train and connect with the animals. Kim combined her professional training with services for the City of Worthington for over 12 years as an Animal Warden. Kim's exploits as an Animal Warden included the removal of an alligator from a vacant house, and the rescue of three bullmastiff dogs from a broken down minivan with temperatures registering above 95 degrees. Kim received numerous awards and commendations for her excellent work. Kim was known as "the Mayor" of the apartment complex she resided in during the last few years of her life. Though disabled with severe emphysema, Kim planted beautiful flowers around the complex and started a community garden for the residents to enjoy. Friends may call at the SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 N. High Street, Worthington, Ohio 43085 on July 17, from 3-5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, charitable contributions may be sent to the Capital Area Humane Society, 3015 Scioto Darby Executive Court, Hilliard, Ohio 43026.
