Felton Benjamin Reynold was born in Parkin, Arkansas and nicknamed "BIG SON" at birth because we weighed over 13 lbs! He joined the Air Force shortly after he graduated from high school. He wasn't ordered but volunteered to serve on Elmendorf Air Force Base in Anchorage, AK. It was then that his love for Alaska began, well before Alaska became our 49th state. After his time in the Air Force Felton returned to Parkin and married his wife of many years, Emma Jean Carruthers. He then chose construction as a career; and worked on projects here in California; especially San Francisco. In the early 70's he moved his Laborer's Union Card and his family to Anchorage, AK and continued his career in construction. He worked on various projects throughout Alaska, including the Trans Alaska Pipeline. Felton was a true outdoorsman, he loved hunting and fishing and it is fitting that his favorite place on earth - was Alaska! He also loved restoring old cars to working condition. He was truly a gift to our family; we thank God for his life. He is survived by his wife, Emma Jean Reynold and 4 children, Ronald B. Reynold, Diane R. Ault, Felton M. Reynold, Joanna Beatty, 10 grandchildren and a host of family and friends: Roy, Minnie, Cheryl, Chuck, Brenda, Sonya, Perry, Dorothy, Tyrone, Tracie, Tammie, James, Barbara, Chris, Charlene, Giovanna, GiTanya, Lance, and many more....
