Army specialist Lee Michael Hodsdon, Alaska resident and soldier, passed away May 29, 2014 at his home in Palmer, Alaska. A celebration of life will be held Sunday June 8, at 3PM, at American Legion Post 15, in Palmer, Alaska.

Lee was born April 26, 1988 in Palmer, AK to Patti and Mike Hodsdon, and his sister, Lindsay.
He graduated from the Military Youth Academy at Fort Richardson in Anchorage, in 2005. He served a tour in Iraq, and received a Purple Heart while fighting for his country. He considered his comrades brothers and loved them like family. He lived his life bravely and cherished time spent with family and friends. His kind heart and love for children will be remembered by all.
He is survived by his immediate family: mother Patti Hodsdon; father Mike Hodsdon; and sister Lindsay Hodsdon. He is also survived by extended family including grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins of Palmer, Soldotna and Anchorage, Alaska.
