Perry Charles Back, 65, of rural Pigeon Falls died Monday, April 14, 2014, at his home.

Perry was born July 23, 1948, in Whitehall to Roger and Norma (Olson) Back. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, receiving a purple heart and other medals.
Perry married Marlene Staudinger on Feb. 2, 1989, in Anchorage, Alaska. Marlene preceded Perry in death on June 22, 2004.
Perry drove truck for Mallorie's Dairy Inc. out of Oregon for many years.
Perry loved working with his flowers, hunting, watching baseball on television and playing whist. He will be missed by his family and friends.
Perry is survived by three sons, Perry Jr., Richard and Sam Back, all of Anchorage; five stepchildren, Michael, Mark, David, Sonny and Rosie Price, all of Anchorage; two brothers, Robert (Anita) Back of Hustiford, Wis., and Lyman (Sue) Back of rural Pigeon Falls; and a sister, LaVon (John) Wick of Kenosha.
