"William was the most amazing man I have ever or will ever know. A lifelong rebel who was not afraid to dream. Unique from birth to the day he left us. His creations and dreams inspired us all to believe. Highly intelligent and quietly confident he made his world mirror his imagination and those that got to share it with him will not forget how special it was. I speak for many when I say that nothing will ever be the same without him, or the twinkle in his eye when he shared his secrets. We are who we are because he lived and through us his legacy lives on," wrote his family.
