Adolph (Art) F. Ploger

AGE: 79 • Manchester Township

Adolph F. Ploger, 79, of Manchester Twp., passed away on Monday, Jan.6, 2014. He was born in White Plains, NY and lived most of his life in Point Pleasant before moving to Manchester Twp. He was a systems technician for NJ Bell for over 30 years until his retirement. Mr. Ploger was an Army veteran of the Korean War, a member of the Calvary Lighthouse in Lakewood, a lifetime member of the Point Pleasant Elks and was a former active member of the Point Pleasant Zoning and Planning Board. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Annette; his daughters, Kathy Ann Stafford of Toms River, Diane Perna and her husband Nick of Beachwood and Lorraine Perna and her husband William of West Windsor; his sister, Netty Calandra; his grandchildren, Danielle, Kristen, Brianna, Nicholas, Michael, Anthony & Anna, and his great-grandchildren, Aliah, Alexis & Nicholas. Arrangements are under the direction of Ocean County Cremation Service, Toms River.
