Albert J. Feddeler, 90, of Seabrook Village, Tinton Falls, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 4, 2014. He was born August 18, 1923 in Spring Lake, NJ. He attended Asbury Park schools, Monmouth Junior College, now Monmouth University and the University of Michigan receiving an engineering degree. He had been a licensed professional engineer and member of the National Society of Professional Engineers. Following employment with several corporations, one of which is where he met his wife, Georga, he was manager of defense electronics manufacturing technology programs at the Communication Electronics Command Research and Development Center at Fort Monmouth where he retired in 1989. He was an emeritus member of the American Chemical Society and the National Association of Retired Federal Employees. He had served as a Trustee and as a member of the administrative board of the United Methodist Church of Red Bank. He and Georga enjoyed traveling the world where he captured every moment in photos. They loved being "Snow Birds" and spent their time biking and enjoying the beaches on Sanibel Island. He spent many hours walking his dog "Spanky" on Sandy Hook, watching Michigan Wolverines football and listening to music. He was also known for his sweet tooth.
He is predeceased by his parents, Albert and Vera Feddeler; his wife of 61 years, Georga, who died in December; his son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Susan Feddeler and his brother, Bob. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Chick Bruno; grandchildren, Courtney and Rob Feddeler; his sister-in-law, Dee; two brothers-in-law, Charlie and Bob, and four nieces, Sue, Bethie, Bevin and Julie.
A memorial service is scheduled Saturday, June 14, 2014 at 11:00 am in the Garden Room in Renaissance Gardens (Continuing Care) in Seabrook Village, Tinton Falls, NJ.
