Edward G. Clemmensen, 89, of Whiting, NJ went home to be with his Lord on Thursday, May 2, 2013. Born and raised in Glenside, PA, he served in World War II in the battle of the Bulge. After relocating to Ewing Township, NJ, he was a representative for the Presbyterian Minister's Fund for 18 years. He was a past Master of Corinthian-Williamson Masonic Lodge #368 and a member of the Cross Bridge Community Church, Lacey Township, NJ.
Edward is predeceased by his daughter, Carol in 1954. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 65 years, Amelia (Millie). Ed was so proud of his sons and their wives, Mark (Virginia), Scott (Joanne), and Craig (Jennifer). His grandchildren, Andrew, John, and Carol, Tyler and Cody and great granddaughter, Helena put much joy in his life. Also, his many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visiting hours will be Monday from 7 to 9 PM at the Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 115 Lacey Road, Whiting, NJ. His funeral service will be held Tuesday, 10 AM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions in Ed's name be made to the America's Keswick, 601 Route 530, Whiting, NJ 08759.
