Frank F. Invernale

AGE: 80 • Eatontown

Frank F. Invernale, 80, a longtime resident of Eatontown, died Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012, at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Frank was born in Brooklyn, NY to Frank and Agnes (Muscarella) Invernale. He proudly served our country in the Army during the Korean and Vietnam wars. He worked as a logistics specialist at Ft. Monmouth in Eatontown. Frank was a communicant of St. Dorothea's R.C. Church, Eatontown, a member of F&AM Eatontown Lodge, now the Navesink Lodge #9, a member of the Knights of Columbus and enjoyed woodworking in his free time.

Frank is predeceased by his parents and his brother, James. He is survived by his wife, Hedwig "Katy" (Katz) Invernale; his son, Frank R. and wife Laura of Old Bridge; sisters, Marie Invernale of Englishtown, and Dolores Cosentino and husband Anthony of Brooklyn, NY; sister-in-law, Else Thumm of Germany; and many loving nieces and nephews in the U.S. and overseas.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 5 at the Braun Funeral Home, 106 Broad St., Eatontown. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 6 at St. Dorothea's R.C. Church, Eatontown. Entombment will follow at Woodbine Mausoleum, Oceanport.
