John James Paige, 81, referred to by many as "Bill," was born on February 16, 1932 in Spring Lake, NJ and departed this life on Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2013. The son of Ada Virginia Moon and John Page, he was a life-long resident of Brielle, NJ, where he lived with his wife, Rosalie. John attended Manasquan High School where he was often called, "Tex," due to his love of country music, also exemplified by his playing the guitar. He left high school to join the Army and served his country, where he was a proud member of the 82nd Airborne, serving during the Korean War time frame. Subsequent to the Army, he went on to work at Pleasant Dairy Farms, which transitioned to Tuscan Dairy Farms, where he ultimately retired. During his retirement years, until his passing, he often spent time with friends, as he frequented Collingswood Auction, Farmingdale, NJ on weekends and the General Store, Allenwood on Thursdays.

John is predeceased by his sisters, Luella P. Taylor (survived by husband Harold), Ada P. White (survived by husband Roy, Sr.) and brother, Leroy Paige. He is survived by his wife, Rosalie Paige; son, William James Paige of Neptune, (known as "Boo", "Little Bill" or "Billy") and daughter, Ruth Ann Paige of Neptune, (who John affectionately called "Sister"). He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren, Eji Maxilom (wife Lauren) of San Diego, CA, William J. Paige, Jr. and Tyrone J Paige, both of Yuma, AZ and BrookeLynn S. Paige of Neptune;his great grandchildren, Leanna of Yuma, AZ, Emerson and Sophia Brielle, both of San Diego, CA. This is in addition to a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Sunday, August 25 from 1-3 and 5-7 pm at Orender Family Home for Funerals, 2643 Old Bridge Road, Manasquan. Funeral service will be Monday, August 26 at 11:30 am at Brig Gen William C Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ. Funeral procession will leave the funeral home 10:15 am Monday morning.
