John M. Cutinello

AGE: 85 • South Seaside Park

John M. Cutinello, 85, of South Seaside Park passed away Friday, August 16, 2013 after a valiant battle with Alzheimer's and Parkinson's surrounded by his loving family. John resided in Cranford, NJ before retiring to South Seaside Park. He graduated from The Ohio State University and was a proud Buckeye. An Army veteran, he received the Bronze Star for Valor during the Korean War. He then became an elementary school teacher, RPHS Varsity Coach, and NJ State Wrestling Official. Before retiring he was the principal of Robert Gordon School in Roselle Park. He was an active member of many church and community organizations including PER of BPOE #2006, and serving as President of the Ocean County Golf Association.

John is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Connie, his three daughters; Jeanne Connell and her husband Robert of Hazlet, Joanne Segear and her husband Thomas of Somerset, and Louise Bateman and her husband Michael of Eatontown. He is also survived by four grandchildren; John, Thomas Jr., Mary Rose, and Michael and a brother Marco Cutinello of Manchester.

A visitation will be held on Monday, August 19 from 4-9 pm at "The Family Owned" Carmona Bolen Home for Funerals 412 Main Street Toms River. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday at 11:00am at Saint Catharine of Siena Church in Seaside Park, NJ with a burial to follow at Saint Gertrude's Cemetery, Colonia, NJ.
