Michael "Mickey" J. Haddad

AGE: 86 • Shrewsbury

Michael "Mickey" J. Haddad, 86, of Shrewsbury passed away on Monday, Jan. 13, 2014 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. He was born in Manhattan and lived the last 30+ years of his life happily in the area he loved the most Highlands, NJ. Michael retired from the Arnart Imports, in Newark after many years of service. He was a communicant and usher at Holy Cross Church in Rumson and volunteered at the YMCA of Red Bank. Michael also proudly served our country during WWII in the US Marine Corp.

He is predeceased by his parents, Charles and Mary Haddad; previous spouse, Nancy Haddad; two brothers, Ferris and Joseph Haddad; a sister, Louise Fackovec and a grandson, Justin Haddad. Michael is survived by his significant other, Joan Ella McCue; a son, Michael D. Haddad and his wife Susan of Dallas TX; two daughters, Patricia Beninati of Jersey City, NJ and Carolann Iadarola and her husband Joseph of East Stroudsburg, PA; a brother George Haddad of NY; three sisters Jeannie Reynolds of NY and Victoria Ribando of Staten Island, NY, Isabelle Moore of NY, and four grandchildren, Parker, Jordan, Michael and Lesleyann.

Visitation will take place on Monday, January 20, 2014 from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8pm at the John E. Day Funeral Home, 85 Riverside Avenue, Red Bank. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday 10:30am at the Church of the Precious Blood, Monmouth Beach. Interment will follow at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Middletown.
