Robert Craig Lindenmuth, 59, of Wall, passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2013, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Mr. Lindenmuth was born in Paterson and raised in Wayne, and had lived in Wall since 1985. He was a graduate of Wayne Hills High School and attended Montclair State College. He was a Vietnam Era veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, a volunteer fireman in Wayne, and had worked with Wall Emergency Management. He was a retired Electronics Technician from the Army Research Laboratory at Fort Monmouth. He enjoyed photography, amateur radio and trains. Bob was a dear friend to many, and will be greatly missed.
Mr. Lindenmuth was predeceased by his parents, Josephine and Charles A. Lindenmuth, Sr., as well as by his brother, Charles A. Lindenmuth, Jr. He is survived by his beloved wife of 31 years, Cheryl of Wall, as well as his sister and brother-in-law, Joanne and Gordon Mandeville of Colorado, and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will take place from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, May 5, 2013 at O'Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy. 35, Wall. A funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. Monday, May 6, 2013 at the funeral home, followed by interment with military honors at 1 p.m. at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown.
