Vincent W. Cacace Jr. "Chick", 69 of Manchester died peacefully at home on Wednesday, April 23, 2014. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, he resided in Staten Island for 36 years before moving to Manchester 10 years ago. He served in the Navy during the Vietnam War. He worked many years as a New York City cab driver and more recently, as a courier in Ocean County for the Meridian Heath Care System. He was a generous, thoughtful, fun-loving man who enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Janice Lopez Cacace; daughter, Kimberly & husband Frank Fusco of Old Bridge; son, Kenneth & wife Maria and her daughter, Julianna of Clifton; and 4 grandchildren, Matthew, Robert, Casey and Chloe. He is survived by sisters, Linda Pitre and Virginia Ganci both of North Bellmore, Long Island; brother, Stephen of Brooklyn; predeceased by his brother, Anthony and survived by sister-in-law Lisa Garetano and many nieces and nephews. Visitation is Monday, 1-4 pm and 6-9 pm at Oliverie Funeral Home, 2925 Ridgeway Rd, Manchester. Funeral Liturgy is Tuesday, 10:30 am at St. Luke's Church, Toms River with interment to follow at BG William C. Doyle Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
