William L. Stout

AGE: 79 • Rumson

William L. Stout, " Bill," 79, of Rumson, passed away Saturday, November 9, 2013 at Riverview Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family. Bill was born in Asheville, North Carolina and was a long time Rumson resident. He retired as a stock broker from A.C. Partners, New York, NY in 1993. Bill served as a 1st Lieutenant in the United State Marine Corps.

He was a graduate of Rumson Fair Haven High School, where he was inducted into their Athletic Hall of Fame for Football in 1987, He attended Deerfield Academy, and Graduated from Trinity College. Bill was a member of the New York Stock Exchange, The Buttonwood Club, The Long Cove Club, Rumson Country Club, and former a member of the Seabright Beach Club and the Sea Bright Lawn Tennis and Cricket Club.

Bill is survived by his wife, Lani Stout, Sons, William "Paul" Stout and his wife Christine of Rumson, Jack W. Reilly III and his wife Amy of Maitland FL ,James P Reilly and his wife Karen of Bethel, NY, And His daughter, Laura Stout of Austin, TX. His sisters Judith Stout of Hancock, NH, Mary Lawrence of Rumson, Nicky Chapin of New York, NY, and Hope Connors of Englewood Co, And His beloved eight grandchildren , Anthony, Sarah, Julia, J.W., Anabelle, Caroline, Will & Megan.

Memorial Gathering Wednesday 7-9pm at The Thompson Memorial Home, 310 Broad St., Red Bank, NJ. Memorial Service Thursday 10:30 am from All Saints Memorial Episcopal Church, 202 Navesink Ave., Navesink.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Marine Corp Scholarship Foundation, 909 N. Washington St., Suite 400, Alexandria, VA 22314 are preferred.
