Day and reunited with his family. His decorations included the Air Medal and Purple Heart. He is survived by his daughter, Shirley Bueche, of Greenville, TX, and eight grandchildren. He was buried in Dallas, TX, where he had lived previously for
many years. His family will host an open house or memorial the third week of August. Details will be provided to the Mesa chapter of American Ex-Prisoners of War.
