Schneider, David Cole
46, of Phoenix , died January 12th, 2013 in Phoenix .
Born in Albany , NY , his home was Catskill , NY , where he lived with his family at Cedar Grove, The Thomas Cole House, before moving to Scottsdale . He was the great-great-great grandson of Thomas Cole, American landscape painter and founder of the Hudson River School of Art. David graduated from Saguaro High School in Scottsdale , where he excelled in football and basketball. He attended Arizona State University. He most recently served as Vice President and Director of Sales for Z Global Inspections and project manager for AVDB Group in Phoenix . He was also a successful construction executive overseeing projects in Arizona , Florida , and California . A lifelong professional and volunteer coach, David most recently was active coaching baseball and football in the SEV Thunder Football League, the Pirates Club Baseball League, and the Ahwatukee Little League. He also served as the Director of the Arizona Chapter of the Retired Boxers Foundation. He is survived by a daughter, Haley Cole Schneider, and a son, Elijah Cole Schneider. Services are scheduled for 2:00-4:00 pm, Saturday, January 19th at Messinger Mortuary, 7601 E. Indian School Road in Scottsdale , with special remembrances at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ahwatukee Little League, 11620 South Chinook St., Phoenix, AZ 85044.
