He joined the Air Force and spent time in Vietnam and Korea not only in active duty but also returned to Vietnam as a contractor. He graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Finance and then went on to get his Masters in Business. He proceeded to work with Motorola in Finance and retired after 25 years. He survived by his wife Ellen of 41 years, son Michael Pearson (wife Lindsay), daughter Jennifer Gerlach (husband Craig), his sister Jane Dress, brother Dennis Pearson, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Andy and Barbara Spitalny along with many nieces and nephews. Dave was most proud of his grandchildren Tyler (15), Mackenzie (7), Bryce (3) and Brooklyn (5 months). He enjoyed fishing, watching clouds and making people laugh. He was a grown man but always a kid at heart. He also leaves behind "Mans Best Friend" his Toy Poodle Oliver who spent everyday sitting on his lap or following him everywhere he went. He will be missed by all of his family, friends and previous co-workers along with anyone and everyone he came in contact with. May he rest in peace and watch over us from heaven. We love you.
