Beall, Dewey Wade
known as "Wade," 84, resident of Ahwatukee for 35 years, died November 28, 2012. He is survived by his five children, Wendy Beall, Teresa Beall, Shelley Morrison, Cresta Terrell, and Christopher Beall, eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren, as well as his beloved cat, Cara Mia, and pet parrot, Max. Wade proudly served in the Navy as an Aviation Radioman Third Class, stationed in Florida at the Naval Air Station Banana River. In 1951, Wade received a BS in Business Administration from the University of Maryland and then worked for Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Lab before moving to Arizona in 1957 to join the purchasing department of Garrett Corporation. He earned an MBA from Arizona State University in 1968. After retiring in 1986 as purchasing manager of Garrett General Aviation Services Co., Wade enjoyed many years of RV travel in the U.S. and Mexico with his wife, Pat, an avid birder.
