Elliott, Elzia J.
Pastor Elzia J Elliott, born on Feb 4th 1928 went to be with the Lord on Jun 11th 2014. He is survived by his wife Shirley Elliott, children Daren and Twyla, 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. His life left a legacy of how to stand for God in truth, love, respect and integrity. He was a beloved Brother, Husband, Father, Grandfather, Minister and Friend. We honor him for he spent his life serving the Lord, his family and his church family, and his country. Joining the Army in 1952 he served in the Korean War. He loved to honor and salute all our veterans that fight for our freedom. He Pastored Victory Tabernacle in Gilbert, Az. for 42yrs and remained faithful until the day that God saw fit for the Angels to carry him away to paradise. Where he is reunited with his Savior and all the loved ones that were awaiting him there. He lived a good life and will be missed by so many in the community and his family that love him so much. The Viewing will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home Chapel, 7900 E. Main St., Mesa, AZ from 4pm-7pm. The funeral will start promptly at 10 am at Victory Tabernacle, 339 S. Lindsay Rd. Gilbert AZ 85296 on Friday, June 20th 2014. Interment at Mountain View Cemetery at 12 pm for Military Grave site service.
