Malkoff, Jack M.D.
Dr. Jack Malkoff, age 88, passed away peacefully on August 6, 2014. Born in Youngstown, OH on 10/17/25, Jack touched many lives as a physician, inventor, father, husband and friend. A WWII veteran, Jack graduated medical school from Ohio St. Univ. and went on to help countless patients over a 40-year career as an Ear, Nose and Throat specialist in OH, PA and AZ. Jack met the love of his life, Judy Sherman, in the summer of 1954 and proposed 3 weeks later. Married almost 60 years, Jack and Judy raised 4 wonderful children: Laurie, Robert, Gregg and Scott. Jack also leaves behind 6 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. A tireless perfectionist, Jack created the EAR BAND-IT headband to help his young patients with ear tubes swim safely. 25 years later, his product has helped millions of people around the world. Jack's sweet, gentle spirit touched all those who knew him and he kept his amazing sense of humor right up until the end. The family will be having a small private celebration of his life.
