74 of St. Germain, Wisconsin, died suddenly in Sun City West, Az on 1-24-2014. He is survived by his wife, Marsha, stepdaughter Laurie Scanlan, 2 grandchildren, Kimberly Lee , Joseph Scanlan, great-granddaughter Summer Lee, his sister Sr. Yvonne Renner, nieces and nephews including special niece Linda Wood. Jerry started his career as a mechanic and then service manager with Martz Chevrolet. In 1972 Jerry founded and operated House of Harley-Davidson in Greenfield, Wi. until his first retirement in 2000. By working 7 days a week and employing some of the most devoted people, he became the highest award winning dealer in the Harley-Davidson dealer network. He moved to St. Germain, WI and founded and operated Northern Lights Harley-Davidson in Arbor Vitae Wi. until 2013. Jerry was a man of many talents and hobbies. He rode thousands of miles on his Harley-Davidson motorcycles and also enjoyed snowmobiling and boating. He built boats, restored classic cars, restored Harley-Davidson pan head motorcycles and learned to fly an airplane. If he had a dream, he made it come true. He had a great love of people. His friends and family were extremely important to him. He had loyal friends and was loyal to them, quick to share a story or to mentor those who shared his interests. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date in St. Germain, WI. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to his favorite charity, ABCD After Breast Cancer Diagnosis, 5775 North Glen Park Road, Suite 201, Glendale, WI.
