Norwood, Judith A.
73, passed away August 10, 2013. She was born in Marion, Indiana, on January 9, 1940 to William and Helen (Wysong) Norwood. Judy was an educator, beginning as a journalism teacher at Marcos de Niza High School in Tempe. There she also served as advisor to the newspaper and yearbook staffs. From there she went on to teach at Arizona State University and then Angelo State University (Texas). She is survived by her sister, Ginger Pence, of Bokeelia, Florida; her daughter, Susan Arndt, of Scottsdale; her son and daughter-in-law, William and Laura Ruch, of Sydney, Australia; and six grandsons. Memorial services are to take place next summer in Indiana, as she had requested. Arrangements are being handled by the Neptune Society of Tempe, Arizona.
