Kathleen Lindell-Broyhill, age 63, died on February 19, 2014. She was born on June 1, 1950, in Cadillac, MI to Lawrence and Shirley (Johnson) Lindell. She leaves her parents and five siblings, Christine (Michael) Pounds, Joel (Laurie) Lindell, Barbara (Charles) Robin, Daniel Lindell, and Claire (James) Key, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Martin Lindell. Kathleen (Kat) and Michael Broyhill, were married in October of 1982 and spent 32 happy years together in Phoenix, AZ. Kat loved life. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, birds and hiking. Kat and Michael spent a great deal of time together enjoying nature and the outdoors with their beloved dogs. After graduating from Eisenhower High School in Rialto, CA Kathleen continued her education at Diablo Valley College in Pleasant Hill, CA and graduated from Arizona State University. After graduating she began working at the Maricopa County Attorney's Office and proudly served for nearly 41 years. Her memorial will be held on Sunday, March 9, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior at the Hansen Desert Hills Mortuary, 6500 E. Bell Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85254.
