Keil, Kevin (Gus) James
Our beloved Kevin (Gus) James Keil suffered a stroke on May 8th, and left us at 12:09 pm on May 11th 2013. Those who remain behind and heartbroken are his wife, Danielle Sapper Keil, and their 3 children: Sarah, Gabriella, and James and Chester, his Corgi. Known to all as Gus, he is survived by his mother, Nola Keil; his sister Kathleen Keil and her children: Aimee, Brandon, Coco, and Chad Dietle; his sister Kimberly Keil and her husband Markus Naji, as well as her daughters Laura, Aubrey, and Kristina. All send him on his journey with a piece of their hearts and a kiss. His mother-in-law Vicky Sapper, sister-in-law Vivian Sapper Cesana and her husband Joe, and their children Sabrina, Adam, and Justin; along with Gus's extended family, the Chasens and Sappers; will forever miss his presence. To our friends who have been our rock during this process, we could not have walked through this door without your love and support. Gus had an incredible talent to bring laughter in the most difficult times; we all search for that now. He was an amazing father, husband, son, brother, uncle, and brother-in-law who can never be replaced. Born in Arlington Heights, Illinois on January 20, 1961, Gus attended and graduated from Arizona State University. He worked for many years at VISA, where he met his wife Danielle. Services will be held at Chapel of the Chimes, 32992 Mission Blvd at 11am on Thursday, May 16th. A graveside service will follow. All who would like to gather to celebrate Gus's life are invited to the Five Canyons Recreation Center, Castro Valley immediately after the graveside service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Keil Family Memorial Fund - Bank of the West Account # 031381699.
