Acosta, Lily T.
Lily T. Acosta was born in Magdalena, Sonora Mexico on August 19, 1935. She entered into her eternity on February 25, 2013. A consummate mother, wife and grandmother to the end, Lily was an excellent cook and always enjoyed preparing meals for family and friends. She took great pride in hearing how much everyone loved her food. Not only was she an incredible chef, she was also skilled at sewing, and she was always ready to take on any home-improvement job she could. Lily also loved flowers and gardening, and is said to have had a perfect green thumb. A hobby she especially enjoyed doing while spending her summers at her cabin in Pinetop, AZ. Education was one of the most important life goals that she had for her children. And one of her greatest achievements was to watch each one of them graduate from college. Daily she would also stress the importance of family, faith, forgiveness, inner strength, happiness and love. To her family, Lily will always be their pillar of strength. Her light will continue to live on in those she is survived by. Her husband of 52 years, Albert G.
