Of Gilbert. On January 29, 2014, our beloved Lynne went on to follow her spiritual path on her next journey. Our loss is immeasurable. Lynne was born in Sioux City, Iowa and graduated from Central High School. Her undergraduate degree was from the University of Iowa. She played the flute and piccolo in high school and also for many years in the Scottsdale Community Band and the Play It Again Band in the Fiesta Bowl Parade. She was a flight attendant for Continental Airlines for 20 years, during which she travelled all over the world, which she dearly enjoyed. Lynne earned her Master degree in Special Education in 1992, and she was a special education teacher and school librarian. She married the love of her life, Richard in 1996. The two of them travelled all over the world, including flying on the Concorde and rafting through the Grand Canyon on the Colorado River several times plus many cruises to Alaska. She is survived by her husband, Richard. Lynne will join in Heaven her parents, Martha and Maurice Blinco. Family and friends will miss her, but are comforted by the many wonderful memories that were shared. She had 2 sisters, Carol and Beverly, and 5 nephews and nieces left behind. She spent many years rescuing homeless animals, from the schools where she worked and other locations. She will meet them on the Rainbow Bridge. Lynne was a loving and kind, gentle spirit. A celebration of life will be held on February 22, 2014 at Legacy Funeral Home 1374 N. Arizona Ave. Chandler, Arizona. Memorial contributions may be made to Halo Animal Rescue at 2500 S. 27th Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85009 and halorescue.org. Final Arrangements Entrusted to A Legacy Funeral Home www.azlegacyfuneralhome.com
