Margaret Klein Loeb, age 90, passed away Friday, June 13. She was born in Czechoslovakia in 1923 and emigrated from Sweden in 1947. She was an extremely dedicated mother and grandmother. She is remembered by her surviving children Peggeth (Jeff), and Marvin and by her grandchildren Danielle, Andrew, Max and Zoe. Margaret was predeceased by her husband Sam, eldest daughter Barbara, grandson Eric, son-in-law Bob, her parents Berta and Mechel and siblings David, Rella and Blanca. Margaret was a Holocaust survivor who lost half of her immediate and extended family at a very young age. She was able to move on and learn to embrace life again, while never forgetting these losses. She was a model of strength, courage, perseverance, grace, and dignity. As a family, we feel blessed to have learned the power of love from her. We mourn an irreplaceable presence in our lives, the last of her generation. Her story is recorded by the Steven Spielberg Film and Video Archive. The funeral will be held on Tuesday June 17, 11am in Beth El Cemetery inside of Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery, 2300 West Van Buren, Phoenix Az. Arrangements by Sinai Mortuary.
