Michael "Mickey" Levine passed away peacefully January 25, 2014 at the age of 92 in Phoenix AZ. A first generation American, Mickey was born December 18, 1921 in Jersey City, NJ to his parents Harry and Minnie Levine. He is survived by the love of his life, Gloria-his wife of 66 years- his daughter Pam, wife of Joe Karner, and sons Steven, Larry and his wife Suzi, and Brian Levine, as well as 8 grandchildren and 13 grandchildren. Mickey was an Army veteran and was one of the few remaining Pearl Harbor survivors. He cut the ribbon commemorating the dedication of the Pearl harbor Wall in Phoenix. He dearly enjoyed attending monthly meetings with fellow survivors and often made appearances in parades aroud the Valley. Mickey spent the majority of his life as a small business owner. He was a classic and loved others deeply. Mickey was blessed to live a long, full life during which he impacted many. He is loved and will truly be missed. Burial will be Monday February 3, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at National Memorial Cemetary at 23,029 n Cave Creek Rd, Phoenix, AZ. Rest in Peace Mickey.
