Severin, "Mick" Michael R.
65, passed away unexpectedly April 26th, 2014 while in Kauai, HI. Born July 7th, 1948 in Detroit, Michigan, the Son of Raymond and Jean Severin. He attended St. Cecilia Catholic High School and Wayne State University before moving to Arizona in 1979 with his first wife Sydney and son Adam. He worked as the grounds manager for Turf Paradise Race Track before starting his own Spa and Landscaping Business, Life Techniques. Mick was a gifted musician, writer and journalist, he founded The Albion Health Newspaper in 1983 and as editor shared his love of exercise, nutrition and health as he encouraged many to live better through his inspirational writing and teaching. He continued this journey as he founded Fitness Road and touched the lives of many within the transportation industry through publications dedicated to the industry. He was a great coach, trainer and role model. He is survived by his Fiance and the love of his life for 27 years Rebecca, Brother Jerry, Sister Susie, Son Adam and Step-Son Rick. He has 3 Granddaughter's and 2 Grandson's whom he absolutely adored. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 am Saturday June 7th, 2014 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 2121 S. Rural Rd. in Tempe, AZ 85282. It is with great sadness in our hearts that we say goodbye for now. He will be missed by many, but never forgotten.
