59, passed away on November 2, 2012. Preston was born in Kansas City, Missouri. He attended Princeton University and earned his law degree from University of Kansas at the top of his class. For his scholastic excellence in law school, he was recognized with the Order of Coif membership, the William L. Burdick prize, and the West Publishing Company Award for Highest Academic Standing. He also earned American Jurisprudence awards for the highest academic standing in his classes relating to contracts, property, civil procedure and labor law. He was a member of prominent law firms in Phoenix. He was well respected in his field, listed on the Martindale-Huddell Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers. He is survived by his sister, Lorraine, and his daughter, Christie. The family is appreciative of the condolences received, and will be holding a private service in accordance with Preston's wishes.
