White, Sarah Brooke
Sarah Brooke White, 31, passed away on Palm Sunday, March 24, 2013, in Scottsdale, Arizona, after a three-year battle with breast cancer. Sarah was born in Manhattan, Kansas, and moved to Phoenix, Arizona when she was five. She is survived by her mother, Cindy Wilde White, her father and stepmother, Glenn and Joy White, her sister and brother-in-law, Shawna and Ed Rose, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Sarah attended North Canyon High School in Phoenix and Arizona State University in Tempe and worked as a Paralegal for Westcor/Macerich. She was extremely social and wanted to explore as much of the world as she could, even after being diagnosed with cancer three years ago. Since then she visited her birthplace in Kansas, participated in a wedding in Nebraska, took a Caribbean cruise, vacationed last December in Bali, and a few weeks ago flew to Omaha, Nebraska, for a Taylor Swift concert. Sarah was determined to have a high quality of life right up to the end and she did. One of her special interests was the football team at Kansas State University and she was a loyal and vocal Wildcat supporter. Sarah is preceded in death by her grandparents, Norman and Evelyn Wilde of Phoenix. A Memorial Service will be held at the Chaparral Christian Church, 6451 E. Shea Blvd., Scottsdale, AZ 85254 on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment will take place in the Memorial Garden section at Chaparral Christian Church.
