Sparks, Sean "Skraps" Michael
28, of Breckenridge, CO passed away on December 29, 2013. He was born April 19, 1985, in Anaheim, CA, and eventually moved with his family to Cave Creek, where he graduated from Cactus Shadows High School in 2003. He worked for the U.S. Postal Service, taking other odd jobs along the way, but always hoped to one day reach his ultimate goal, with a noble career serving others as a police officer. He recently moved to Breckenridge, CO, where he enjoyed snowboarding, hiking, and playing ice hockey, whether indoors or outside on the frozen ponds. He loved being outdoors and simply spending time with those close to him. His countless friends loved him dearly, and will always remember him for his love of his pets and for sports, especially the hockey and kickball leagues they shared, his infectious smile, and for being a selfless and fiercely loyal friend. Sean was a beloved son, brother, grandson, and nephew, survived by his parents Michael and Laurie, brother Ryan, grandmothers Hope and Beverly, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins across the United States and Canada. He touched everyone he came in contact with and will be deeply missed by all who were lucky enough to know him. Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, January 11, 2014, at St. Mary's Basilica, 231 N. 3rd Street, Phoenix, AZ 85004. In lieu of flowers, Sean's family requests that a donation be made in his name to one of the following charities: Arizona Humane Society, Wounded Warrior Project, , or the Phoenix Children's Hospital.
