82, of Scottsdale passed away on December 12, 2013. Victor, or "Ed" as he was known to family and friends was a man of faith who was deeply devoted to his wife Joan, his family and friends. Victor was the younger of two children born in Philadelphia, PA. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan. He grew up in Oak Park, IL where he and Joan attended school from elementary through high school, and they married in 1953. After graduating from Northwestern University in 1953, Victor had a very successful career working for General Motors from 1958 to 1994 where he held many key executive sales and marketing positions with the Buick Division and also overseas in the Philippines and Japan. He earned a Masters Degree in International Relations from Syracuse University while in Japan. After retiring in 1994 from GM, he moved to Norcross, GA. In 1996, he moved to Scottsdale, AZ and became the Executive Director of the Valley Chevrolet Dealer Advertising Association for the next 10 years. Victor was a member of the Valley Presbyterian Church in Paradise Valley. Ed and Joan had very interesting lives living internationally and made friends all over the globe. Victor will be greatly missed by all those who have been blessed to know him. He is survived by his two daughters, Nancy Dolnier (husband Karl) and Susan Clark (husband Russell), his sister Ellen Mae Rennix, 4 grandsons, and 4 great grandchildren. The family is planning a private memorial service next summer with burial in the Chicago area. Arrangements entrusted to Messinger Pinnacle Peak Mortuary. Contributions can be made to the Salvation Army Southwest Division.
