Peter Ciadella Obituary
67, of Scottsdale, AZ, passed away October 25, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer. Peter was born October 15, 1946 in Niagara Falls, NY. He graduated from Potsdam High School in 1964. He served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Enterprise and received the Vietnam Service Medal. Peter was a successful business owner and fortunate to work in an industry which he loved so dearly. He was the proud owner of Arizona's largest Corvette Dealership, Cn'V Corvettes and Ciadella Interiors, which manufactures Classic Chevrolet Interiors. Peter is well known in the auto industry and had a great love for classic cars. Peter is survived by his loving wife Ann, son David (Diane) Ciadella, daughters Lee (Joe) Shirey, Gina Ciadella, Natalie (Chris) Fredericks and nine precious grandchildren. Peter touched the lives of many people with his generosity, infectious smile and sense of humor. We have lost a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend too soon. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am, Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at
St. Bernard of Clairvaux Catholic Church, 10755 N. 124th St., in Scottsdale. Contributions can be made to Hospice of the Valley or the American Cancer Society. Arrangements entrusted to Messinger Indian School Mortuary.

Wow. Sitting here listening to Dianne Warwick and other music from the '60s and it brought back memories of Pete and family, in Potsdam. I decided to do a search and was very very sad to see his obituary. Pete and I were close friends in the '60s when I lived in Potsdam. I was always so warmly welcomed by his family. And was usually invited to dinner but remember one time in particular when I wouldn't stay because they were having liver! they could NEVER convince me how delicious it was. Many happy times with that family. I am remembering sisters Maria and Margaret and driving Pete's blue sports car up to Hannawa Falls.
I am so sad about this news. My deepest condolences to Ann, whom I knew through your cousin Nancy.
Again, I am so saddened by this. Pete had a great sense of humor, was a big joker, and had a smile that wouldn't quit.

Dear Ann,
I wanted to tell you how very privileged I feel, that I have been able to enjoy Pete's company, his humor, his kindness and his friendship.
You may not know it, but I have learned so much from him over the years, even though my time with him was way too short.
He has been a great role model for many of us. Not only in his extraordinary work as a manufacturer and provider of extra ordinarily high quality products, but as mentor, and as a friend.
The influence of his shining example will live on in all the people he has touched throughout his life. I am most fortunate to be among them.

A wonderful kind thoughtful Man who helped me achieve a dream of rebuilding my fathers 57 chevy for him, which I presented to him at 90 yrs old. Peter sent over to Australia, many samples and parts for me to get things just perfect, and then manufactured a perfect interior, which my father and I enjoy each week. May his soul rest in heaven with God.

I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make.
