Adrian Ascarte passed away after a sudden illness on June 15, 2013 in his daughter's home in Yuba City with his family at his side. He was 62.
He was born July 14, 1950 and grew up in Southern California, married Debi Wilson shortly after graduating from La Quinta High and they had four children.
He joined the Carpenters Union in 1969 and became a craftsman, specializing in framing and concrete, with an AA in blueprint reading. Although he was a Building Contractor, a Project Manager and Construction Superintendent by trade, Adrian also served as an EMT, Medic and a Police Officer in Independence, Oregon in the 1980's. He had a passion for NASCAR races and aviation however his favorite pastime was just sitting on the beach.
Adrian is survived by Debi Wilson Ascarte; their children, Lee Ascarte (Kristi), Tooele, UT; Christine Ascarte Olson (David), Yuba City, CA and Erica Ascarte Scoggins (Jason), West Sacramento, CA; 7 grandchildren; his mother, Irene, his sister Karen and his brother Steve from Huntington Beach, CA, his sister Cindy Ascarte McDivitt (Dean), Hawaii and his brother Christopher (Tina), Cool, CA, 3 nephews, 2 great-nephews and 1 great-niece. Adrian was also preceded in death by his father, Ralph Ascarte on September 20, 1986 and by his youngest son, Michael Ascarte on January 25, 2009.
